Picture Meme

I'm in this strictly for the LOLZ.

Post a picture in my comments of what you think describes me when you think about what/who I am.

Give no written explanation though. Just an image.

(Optional) Copy and paste into your own journal and see what others think about you in pictures!

The Good, The Boz, and The Ugly

Of course, the lack of a "Malcolm Sawyer" option on this quiz is grounds for epic failure, but still...

What Kind of a Western Bad-Ass are You?

You scored as Clint Eastwood

Names aren't important as you dish out steaming bowls of piping hot brutality to your enemies. You also enjoy a good spaghetti dinner once in a while.

2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

Though I wonder how the results might have changed if the quiz-makers had added more technology-oriented issues into the mix.

Memenetics, by L. Boz Hubbard

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. (Some I know too well. You know who you are.) I read your journals, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you for your interest in my words.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they listen in rapture to the love-music of she-turnips." I might feel compelled to mock your musical taste, but I'll certainly remember you.

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people whom I know really well. Maybe especially you. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.

I know for a fact that a good portion of my friends list is regularly raptured by she-turnips, several of which resemble Amy Winehouse. ;) But no thesis can become fact without testing for empirical evidence.

So comment away!

In honor of our dark master, because nothing makes the Internets more relevant than watching Nic Cage pimp punch chicks while in a bear suit:

EDIT: Yes, for those of you that are wondering, this is all from the 2006 remake of "The Wicker Man", redone by playwright and noted misogynist Neil LaBute into what could honestly be termed the worst film of 2006, if not ever. But as with all things craptastic, it has new life on the Web. How, for instance can you argue with quotes like these?

"Life's simple pleasures" meme

I was injected with the tag by chestervheLarry, so I respond:

Name ten of life's simple pleasures that you like most, and then pick ten people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used. Also, try not to list "porn" for every answer.

Memetics

Silly quiz to pass the time while waiting for results:

You scored as Idealist. Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.

I'm sure this result shocks absolutely no one. :)

Charles lets me have it.

No, really, he does. And it is pure awesome.

Make sure to read all the way through. The payoff's at the end. :)

Quotation Memetics

The mark was placed upon me by avariaelKiwi, and so I step up:

Go to http://www.quotationspage.com/subjects and pick out five quotes that best suit your life as it is now:
