Thomas Pocklington Trust
Clear and bold design to suit an inquiry report on visual impairment.

The brief
Working with Thomas Pocklington Trust, an accessible pdf and printed brochure was needed to publicise an inquiry commissioned by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Eye Health and Visual Impairment (APPG). The design was to create a clean typographic layout for all the elements and a visual accompaniment to reflect the findings of the inquiry.
The APPG inquiry sought to understand employer attitudes, explore and eliminate some of the myths and misconceptions that still exist, preventing many blind and partially sighted people from well-paid work, as well as bring attention to barriers, enforcing legislation, and what solutions there are to closing the disability employment gap.
Bold illustrations were sourced and adapted to tell a story, letting the inquiry narrative speak for itself.

Our solution
Letting the narrative speak for itself, along with designed charts a bold use of illustrations were sourced and adapted to tell a story – putting a spot light on employer attitudes and the employment of blind and partially sighted people.
The illustrations took the reader on a journey by linking the four key themes: Barriers to Employment, Employer Attitudes, Policy and Frameworks, and Best Practice onto to the conclusion and recommendations.
