大滝詠一は、1948年7月28日に岩手県にて誕生し、日本の音楽界において、その多才な才能と革新的な音楽スタイルで知られる伝説的なアーティストとして活動しました。1970年代に、「はっぴいえんど」というロックバンドのメンバーとしてデビューし、その後、ソロアーティストとしての道を歩み、より広く知られるようになりました。1981年にリリースされたアルバム「A LONG VACATION」は、日本レコード大賞を受賞し、さらには様々なアーティストのプロデュースや作曲を手がけました。大滝詠一は、2013年に急逝しましたが、彼の功績はその後も称えられ、2014年の第56回日本レコード大賞で特別功労賞を受賞し、2016年には未発表の楽曲を収録したアルバム「Debut Again」が追悼リリースされました。
