BonziBUDDY was a discontinued desktop companion for Microsoft Windows developed by BONZI.COM Software in the early 2000s. It featured a purple, talking gorilla that used text-to-speech and simple animations to interact with users. BonziBUDDY could read web pages and emails aloud, tell jokes and trivia, manage downloads, set reminders, assist with web searches, and offer basic help with everyday PC tasks. It relied on Microsoft Agent technology and speech synthesis to provide a playful, conversational experience.

Despite its lighthearted design, BonziBUDDY became controversial for intrusive advertising and data collection. Many security vendors classified it as adware or spyware, and users frequently reported that it was difficult to remove. The software has been discontinued and is no longer supported. For security and privacy reasons, it is not recommended for installation on modern systems.

BonziBUDDY is developed by BONZI.COM Software. The names of program executable files are BonziBDY.EXE, BonziBDY_2.EXE, BonziBDY_35.EXE, BonziBDY_4.EXE and BonziBUDDY.EXE. This particular product is not fit to be reviewed by our informers.
