Cutting through the noise with strong design for Boskalis

The Brief Boskalis Subsea Services had a prime billboard lightbox position at Aberdeen Airport, benefiting from high footfall at the baggage carousel in the arrivals hall.  Having run the same visual for a while, they felt that it had reached the end of its effectiveness and required a fresh, eye-catching design which would cut through the noise and stand out alongside competing displays.  The new artwork had to showcase what Boskalis Subsea Services does and clearly communicate its key USPs, whilst remaining highly visual and uncluttered in a noisy marketplace, with a snapshot of time and attention.

The Brief

Boskalis Subsea Services had a prime billboard lightbox position at Aberdeen Airport, benefiting from high footfall at the baggage carousel in the arrivals hall.

How we got there

We started by developing succinct, high-impact copy that would clearly communicate what the client does at a glance. We worked closely with Boskalis, refining the messaging to ensure it was accurate and aligned with exactly what they wanted to say and the direction of the business.

We then developed the visual direction, ensuring that every element served a clear purpose and enhanced the overall design.

By combining strong imagery and concise copy, we produced a modern, refreshed billboard design, ready to capture the attention of time poor business travelers arriving to Aberdeen.
