hello everyone! i'm new here.

To start off I'm five foot one and my weight varies from 114 to 119. I want to get down to atleast 100 pounds. I eat around 700 calories on a good day but i don't think it's ever more than 1200. And I excersize when i can. But I haven't lost any weight, at all. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? I thought it you ate less calories then you burned a day you were suppose to lose weight.

thinpositive is a community I created for one reason- in the past when I've felt really great about losing weight and have gone to most weight loss communities- I've gotten depressed and lost hope because I read about binges and failure. I wanted a place to go for motivation without worrying about reading a very negative post and feeling the same way- negative. Negativity breeds negativity. Optimism... breeds optimism.
BTW, if this isn't allowed, please accept my apologies and feel free to delete it. Thank you.

Ok, so apparently this community doesn't get much use- though I'd check in and let you all know what I'm doing and see if anyone is interested in joining me.

As of Wednesday, I weighed in at 107 lbs. I want to get to 97. I can do that in 5 weeks by eating 1253 calories per day (according to www.calorie-count.com I love this site!). That's very do-able and probably a faster rate of progress than I would make trying to eat around 500. So yay!

Anyone else on a 1000+ diet? Even if you're the type who tries to go as low as possible, at least check out the tools section on www.calorie-count.com to see what it would take to achieve your goal. Eating 1000 a day might get you there faster than 300 a day.

Ok, I'll stop trying to find converts. Hope you all are doing well.
