I don't know if anyone's interested, but if you'd like to hear me ramble on about my original fic writing, I'm over at Dreamspinner Press's Goodreads page from 1-6pm Eastern time (6-11pm UK) right here

I'd prefer comments there, but comments here are loved just as much

Over on the Dreamspinner blog, there's a virtual release party going on for the Necking anthology, to be released on 10th May, containing, amongst other things, a story I wrote :) (and a story by someone on my flist - small world!)

Necking is all m/m/m threesomes, and various people are posting extracts of their own stories.

Mine is here - Homecoming.

My God...

Have I really not updated this since July? The curse of job and house hunting I guess. Still.

Though it could have something to do with the fact that I haven't written anything in ages, other than my own original fic, which I'm twitchy about sharing. Not that I think anyone actually reads this, but still.

So, this is one of my favourite stories, and it made my best friend cry the first time she read it, which is kind of an achievement.

Oh, and check out secretsantafic - it's such a cool idea, but how on earth to pick what you'd like? So many choices!

I was clearing out my files today, and I came upon this, that I wrote a while ago. I've no idea if it works or not, or if it seems finished, because the back-story is so clear in my head that I can't tell if it's clear or not. If that made any sense :)

So, any feedback gratefully received, even if you're telling me it's total nonsense and doesn't make any sense!

Anonymous story... any ideas?Collapse )

And in other news... went to Alton Towers yesterday with a group of students, and froze to death. What happened to summer?!? One of them asked me why I wanted to leave them... and it's very hard to explain that I love them and don't want to leave them, but that I can't actually stand the management and the school. But it's nice to know they'll miss me anyway... well, till the new teacher comes :)

This was the first lesbian short story I wrote, for a writers' group I was part of at the time. It's also the only thing I've written recently that's fairly light. No pain and suffering, physical, emotional or mental, which is quite a change for me.

So...what do you think?
