My friend Dani, starwarspunk, won the Join the Celebration contest for Celebration 6!!! I will finally get to meet her, I have watched her grow up online for 10 years. She won two 4-day passes, a bunch of SW toys, and a t-shirt!



Yes, I am going to CIV! Even though my sisters are both in town for the MN State Fair and our family reunion. It's a last minute thing because my bestie, horse_head, offered me a bed in his hotel room. I'd never be able to do a Celebration without Horse, and maybe vice versa. It's going to be good times! I also have to hunt down mistryl, ladyaeryn, and duncatra, and get a pic with planetmatt as always.

~ Still sad that someone hated on me for joining in Spirit Day, but glad he wasn't an important friend. He lost a lot of friends yesterday. Creep.

~ Lately every time I get in my warm bed I have been wishing someone else was there. It's been years.

~ I was talking to a new guy, but when he got a new job he didn't have time to e-mail me, much less date me, especially when he has 7 kids.

~ I don't know why I look forward to these 5 days off, I have nothing planned. Usually I would rather be at work, but work is so damn boring I don't have a happy place anymore.

~ I am so thankful to the two friends who helped me out. We were starving and literally hadn't eaten for days. Now we have groceries we can make last for a few more weeks.

~ I HAVE to organize more IHOP get togethers, my YouTube friends are way too fun. Especially the three that showed up on Tuesday. Great times!

~ And I have to get to all the poetry slams and drag shows I can this winter. And drag said friends with.

Had a blast last night, it was only me and Becky and Jim. Jim and I got to be judges in the poetry slam and all our favorite people were there. I got great video and pics, but I got home way late.

Tonight I am going out with all my local YouTube friends because my best friend Gary is coming to town from Wisconsin for work so we are going to do a last minute get together just to see him. Even though I talk to him every day I haven't seen him since we were in San Francisco together in March so I am excited.

Then I went and pulled my rib out of place again this morning and I can't move my right arm and I can't breathe and I am not about to pay $30 for someone to put it back in, I will just suffer in (almost) silence.

31 DAYS

Day 25: My day, in great detail
~ Dinner was late, so I sat around all day with Cam, my dad, step-mom, and their neighbor lady, Pat. My brother Arnold and his son Jayden, 8, finally got there and we had turkey, watched Sandlot, had a snowball fight, opened presents, talked to both sisters on the phone, played 500, ate more turkey, and stayed up all night watching Dish TV.

~ Winter vacation. So far I haven't got anything done that I need to. Spending 4 days at my dad's house didn't help.
Day 27: My month, in great detail
~ I spent time with My Mikey. He took me to dinner and to see A Klingon Christmas Carol, went to see ~itis, and other fun stuff. Worked, lost weight, saw a few friends, kept my kid alive, made hundreds of blinkies, made new blinkie friends, watched seasons 3-5 of Weeds, it was an okay month. I'd do it again.

2 cans cream of mushroom soup, 2 cans tuna in water, 2 cans mushrooms, milk, Old Dutch Sour Cream and Onion chips. throw it all in a pan, crush the chips on top, bake till the chips are brownish, eat. Easy peasy.

Day 5: I am so bad about posting in my own LJ, but still spend a great deal of time here in the blinkie comms lately. And I haven't had a happy thought all weekend, except for a couple new friends I made at Daily Booth and OKCupid. It's nice having someone to talk to and get to know again. I have locked up in my cave for so long and it was a really shitty weekend having friends come to town and party a couple miles from me and not even invite me over. That is really fucked up and all I can think of is to just never speak to them again. I hate losing friends. Oops, sorry, that's not a happy thought.

My mom and one_eared_bunny and I went on an adventure across town on a billion buses that went places I have never been before. It was hugely stressful, because they are both bitchers and bitch non stop about every damn little thing and I can't take that, I just want to have fun. But I made it fun anyway and ignored them as best as I could. I had a great dinner at Old Country Buffet, Mmmmmmmmm cornbread stuffing! And a gummy bear cupcake!

AGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I need somewhere to stay in Nashville in October. Then I need a way to get there.

Damn, I need more friends in more places. Ha!

I had a great time at the YouTube Midwest Gathering last weekend!

But the best part was meeting my friend Gary (Anakin1814) and spending the day with him. He was so much fun to hang out with. Even though I made tons of new friends, I don't think I would have had such a good time at the Gathering without having someone there I already knew, even though I only know him online.



The highlight of Cam's day was having dinner with Tay Zonday! Cam said it was like winning a contest, they got to talk one on one and he asked Tay everything he wanted.

Last night was a blast. I spent the day with Gary, had dinner with Mike, Gary, Danny and Mandy (I will edit in screen names later), and at night we hung out with more friends at a YouTuber's house that is just a mile up the road from me.

Today I will meet more people at the 678 Midwest Gathering. We'll be in Loring Park sometime after 1:00 for you local people. Unless it rains then we are staying at MOA, but it doesn't look like rain until later.

OMG some Tubers I didn't know were coming came and I was start struck and hugged them way too much. Today is going to be fun, but I think everyone will be spread pretty thin.

I met up with beckyjojmbobsue after work and we got in line to see Obama yesterday. After a three hour wait we got in and waited almost three more hours until he took the stage.

phi_one_zero got lucky and got in on the floor! He was in line way before us. So we text messaged each other the whole time and met up afterwards. I was so tired by then I ran out of things to say. I suck. I think I was more excited to see John than Obama. I haven't seen him in like 6 years. I wish we could have hung out the whole night. And he got to shake Obama's hand!!!! So I shook John's hand directly after and quite possibly got a little Bama sweat on me.

I WISH I had taken a picture or video of the sea of umbrellas. Hundreds and hundreds of them were left outside in trees, bushes, and randomly in piles on the ground, because they told us they weren't allowed inside. Luckily it didn't rain. And luckily when we came out my umbrella was still in the bush I hid it in. There were so many to choose from that chances of mine disappearing were slim.

I wanted Obama to say something to get my final vote. Kissing Hillary's ass didn't quite do it, but I realized that no matter who the dem candidate is I am voting for them. There is still something odd, something illusive. He did make some good promises on health care and education, even though they will be a little too late for my child. Too bad he didn't mention Wookiees or the Force... ;)

Sadly my night never ended. I took a bus home and Cam was sick so an hour later we took a bus all the way back to where I was, people were still milling about and getting on buses. We spent 3 hours in the ER and 7 hours in the hospital and they sent him home before lunch. I don't even remember any of it, I slept through it all. Cam was awake the entire time.

I had a good B-day. My morning was hell when Cam's friend let the poinousous snake loose in the house. (We still haven't found it, we have to keep our shoes on.) I went on a field trip with 1st graders to the Minnesota Nature Center that rocked! I brought icee pops for all 80 kids at afterschool and they sang to me TWICE! My mom came over and brought dinner and cake... and kept her shoes on.

Cam found my wallet. It was way under the kitchen table in a box. I suspect he tossed it at my backpack and missed. But YAY! He's been kicking himself with guilt and looking for it all week.

We went to Old County Buffet on Monday with beckyjojmbobsue. Cam brought Steven. Fun!

Becky said American is now going to fly direct to NYC so we are planning to go again. We haven't been there since 1997. Easier to fly standby when we don't have to connect in Chicago.

Cam's Vader coin sold for $105! He's made $181.35 on eBay on the free crap from C4.

I have a meeting at work on Friday morning. I assume I will be there from 8:30 to 11:30. I still need to get my nature curriculum together, too. I should do that right now. Summer school starts Monday and I will be working the morning program AND the afterschool program.

My userpics are expiring. I do love my userpics, so I need to renew those and maybe give out some granny panties or something.

YouTube is offline. I hope they are fixing it. It's been taking up to 6 hours to process a video and driving everyone nuts!
