Here's the thing.  I don't want to move to DW, I've be on LJ for nearly 7 years, this is my internet/fandom home and the thought of moving and losing people in the transition sucks.  Buuuut.  if LJ keeps this shit up I don't think I'll have a choice. UGGHH.  My paid time runs out in March, so I'm going to be here till then, probably.  We'll see how long I can handle these fucked up comment pages.

Just watched The Eagle. Yeah. So much gayer than the previews made it out to be.

Also saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Draco Malfoy and Rodney McKay were in it. Yep. Also monkeys.

What up, Livejournal?  So you know what's weird? Chocalate yougurt. I got some of those yoplait delights things, in chocolate raspberry. And man, that shit is gross. It's like sour and sweet at the same time, but there is just too much sour so the balance was not right  and the whole thing was just nasty in a cup. :6

So. Who else is glad it's finally September?  Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, the changing leaves, getting to wear hoodies, and pumpkin spice lattes.  Also, I can go to sleep and not wake up soaked in sweat. 

I was woken up this morning by this text from my mom.I put new batteries in the Furby so the cat would have a friend, but it still won't work. :(

Hope those who celebrate had a good Easter, and everyone else had a good Sunday.

Yesterday all of my hair got cut off. ;___;   she cut it about two inches too short and I didn't get the swoopy side bangs I wanted. :(  My hair went from just past my shoulders to chin length.  IT'S VERY TRAUMATIC.

 And it wasn't as if it was some new person, this is same lady I have been going to for years and she basically butchered my hair.  People have told me that it's cute, but I remain unconvinced.  

I think it's time to invest in some nice hats. 

I was going to do something, but now I can't remember what it was. /o\

All day I have been craving BBQ ribs and coconut shrimp, but I am waaay too poor to get either of them. Sad.

Thursday we are having a treat day at work, as it's our last full day of training.  I need suggestions of easy things to make for ~20 people.  The only rules are that it can't be something that has to be kept hot and it has to be reasonably easy to transport. Ideas?  Anyone?

So far this morning I have

• Gotten an oil change
• Got a chip in my windshield repaired
• Filled up my gas tank
• Had a mediocre breakfast at McDonald's

I have not

• taken a shower
• brushed my hair

 I still need to

• Buy a new phone

My current phone is three years old and a total crap heap. I've been needing a new one for about six months, but I just couldn't justify spending the money for one. I usually just cheap out and get whatever phone they're offering for free when you sign a new contract, but this time I am getting a nice one. Specifically, this one. And, it's half price this weekend. :DDDD

 Things I Have Learned At Work

• Chairs with four legs or fewer are unstable.

No, really.  It was in a video they made us watch in orientation on the first day. 

Our sales are in the toilet, so work has been cutting labor to make up the difference. Woo unexpected day off. \o/ I watched some SGA on Netflix this morning. Oh, show. ♥ I've missed your brand of ridiculous science-y space adventures. And then I took a three hour nap. *___* Now I am doing laundry and ostensibly cleaning, but really just moving my piles of junk from one side of the room to the other. :D? I am the worst at cleaning. It's so boring, but I dislike being dirty and/or smelly, so.

Soon I am going to the store to buy food, and probably cookies. :D

I saw Inception again last night, in glorious IMAX.  It was wonderful, but I have a question. It's been bothering me since my first viewing, and I come to you, my dear flist,  for help.  This has probably already been addressed and I've just missed it, but here it goes anyway.

Other things I have decided upon viewing Inception again:

Joseph Gordon Levitt has a spectacular ass.  

 A big red Dodge truck cut me off at the Taco Bell drive thru tonight.  Normally I would have honked at him or something, but I had just gotten off work and I was too tired to exert that extra effort to honk my horn.  I understand the sultry siren song of fourth meal and figured that guy just really wanted his chulupa.  And who I am to stand between a guy and his chulupa.

There was a few cars a head of red truck guy, so I had plenty of time to appreciate the myriad of decals he had on his back window.  There was the requisite Dodge Ram horns, his were in a fun confederate flag design, displayed proudly in the center.  On the left the decal asked Got Redneck? Nope, all out.   On the right there were three more, on the top was a little boy peeing into the snow, spelling out DODGE. Classy. The next said Sorry cowgirls, I ride BULLS not cows!  You like dudes, got it.   And the last was obscured by his big tool box doohickey, but I was able to make out Jesus and Loves.  Yes, He does indeed, red Dodge truck guy.  

And then Taco Bell was out of Dr Pepper and I almost flipped out at the guy at the window when he asked me if Pepsi was okay instead. >:(  No, it's not fucking okay,  but it will have to do, Taco Bell Drive Thru guy. >>>:(

ETA: And now this entry is pissing me off.  Of course, the two POC's are losing the OMG Who's Hotter You Guise! poll. >>>>>>>>>:(  And those are the worst pictures of Ken Watanabe and Dileep Rao.  WTF. 

Maybe I should just go to bed. :/
