Easy Way To Setup Razorpay Payment Integration in Bit Form

Another payment gateway plugin Razorpay has been added to Bit Form. It allows credit cards, debit cards, net banking, wallet & UPI payments.

The below instructions admins have to follow to set up their Razorpay account with Bit Form.

For demonstration purposes, we are performing the integration in test mode. To enable real-time transactions, you must switch to Live mode.

To integrate the Razorpay admin account with Bit Form, the admin must access the Razorpay dashboard and retrieve their API Key and API Secret. These credentials should be entered into the respective ‘API Key’ and ‘API Secret’ fields in Bit Form. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Razorpay Dashboard.
2. Go to Accounts & Settings.
3. Select the API Keys tab.
4. Retrieve the Key ID and Secret.

Once set, the integration will be ready to process payments via Razorpay.

Navigate to the Bit Form dashboard. Then go to App Settings & click on Payments.

Click on Razorpay.

At first, set a suitable integration name on the Integration Name field

Copy the API Key, and API secret from Razorpay and go to the Bit Form Razorpay settings page. Then paste it on the API Key and API secret fields. Then click on Save button.

Field Customization of Razorpay Payment Integration

Field Key

In Bit Form, every field has a special identifier known as a Field Key. This field key uniquely identifies a field, it also helps to send data via email, PDF, store database, and PHP action hook. These keys are important in Success/Error Messages, WebHooks, Redirect Pages, Email Templates, Workflows, and Integrations.

Name

The Name is an HTML equivalent input field’s name, you can customize it easily according to your preferences. You can easily modify it to suit your needs.

A field’s name is like a special label used when you submit a form. For example, let’s say the field name is “razorpay-1-6”. In this case, ‘razorpay’ tells us the type of field it is, ‘1’ refers to the form ID, and ‘6’ means it’s the fourth-number field on the form. This field name can be used for various purposes such as Fetch data from url parameter.

Razorpay Accounts

Select the Razorpay account you want to use for collecting payments. You can connect with multiple Razorpay accounts and choose the one you prefer.

Amount Type

Admin can fix that in which way they want to take payments from users.

✔Fixed: If the admin wants to set a limit of payment, they have to choose this option. For example, you have created a form for a particular sale. Then you have to set the payment digit on the field.

✔Dynamic: For dynamic payment, admins have to add a ‘number/radio field’ where users can add their amount according to their willingness.

Currency

You can set 26+ currency types. The currency is set to INR by default. you can change by your preference.

Account Name

Admin has to set the account name through which all payments should be received. That specific account name will be shown on the top of the payment checkout bar.

Description

Admin can set additional payment descriptions. Users can see this description while making their payments on the Razorpay window.

Include Order ID

Including the Order ID in Razorpay with Bit Form ensures accurate transaction tracking, links payments to form submissions, and simplifies payment management.

Additional Settings

Button Customization

On the button settings option there are four fields :

• Button Text: Admins can change the Razorpay button text according to their choice.
• Button Alignment: Left, Right & Center alignments are available.
• Full-width: Full Width: Enable this option to make the button span the entire width of its container.
• Subtitle: Enable this option to display a smaller secondary heading beneath the main title.

Theme Customization

When the user processes the payment method there will be a Razorpay checkout window. This window’s color & theme can be customizable by admin.

Modal

When the modal option ‘confirmed on close’ is enabled then users will get an option if they want to close the Razorpay window.

Prefill

By default, the users have to fill in the Razorpay checkout information like name, email & contact again. If admins want they can map the field names of the forms on the customization prefill fields – ‘Name’, ‘Email’, ‘Contact’. By this users don’t have to put mapped field information double time on the Razorpay checkout window.

Notes

Admin can send additional information by setting values with their corresponding key. These notes will be shown on their Razorpay account. They can view these notes from their Razorpay account. Admin can send a maximum of 15 key-value paired values.
