Authorization of Zoho Analytics Integration

To set up the Zoho Analytics integration in Bit Form, simply go to the Bit Form plugin and open up the form you want to work on. Then, head to the form settings and look for the integrations section. Click on the plus icon to add a new integration, and search for Zoho Analytics from the available options.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

Data Center: Select a Data Center from the drop-down list.

To create a Zoho Analytics integration with Bit Integrations, you’ll need the Zoho Analytics Client ID and Client Secret. Follow these steps to obtain them.

  • Access Zoho Developer Console: Go to “Zoho Developer Console“.
  • Add Client: Click on “Add Client” and choose “Server-Based Application” as the client type.
  • Name your Application: Provide a descriptive name for your application.
  • Gather Integration Details:
    • Go to your integration’s settings page (separate platform).
    • Copy the Homepage URL from the integration settings.
  • Paste Homepage URL: In the Zoho API Console, locate the “Homepage URL” field and paste the copied URL.
  • Gather Authorized Redirect URIs:
    • Still on your integration’s settings page, copy the Authorized Redirect URIs.
  • Paste Authorized Redirect URIs: In the Zoho API Console, find the “Authorized Redirect URIs” field and paste the copied URIs.
  • Create Client: Click the “Create” button to finalize the process.
  • Copy Client Credentials: The Zoho API Console will display your “Client ID” and “Client Secret“.
  • Integrate Credentials: Copy and paste these credentials (Client ID and Client Secret) into the designated fields on your integration platform.

Once you have successfully entered your Zoho Analytics Client ID, Client Secret and Zoho Analytics Owner Email click “Authorize” to proceed. Once you have successfully authorized your account then click on “Next“.

Workspace: Select a Workspace from the drop-down list.

Zoho Analytics doesn’t support data INSERT / UPDATE in other integration table

In the Zoho Analytics integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in Zoho Analytics. You have the option to map fields by clicking on the Plus (+) icon.

Update Row: You can update Zoho Analytics records by using criteria.

Notice: If you select the Update Row action without any criteria, when you click on the save button a warning message will be shown. All data from the above-selected table will be replaced

Example criteria: (“Table Name”.”Department”=’Finance’ and “Table Name”.”Salary” => 9000)

There is another feature named Update Preference. If you select Yes when the criteria don’t meet a new row will be inserted in Zoho Analytics.

When No is selected then a new row won’t be inserted if the criteria don’t meet.

Share Table: You can share table with users pushed to Zoho Analytics.

Once you have configured the desired settings for the integration, click the Save & Finish button to save the integration.

Configuring the conditional logic

Now, let’s set up some conditional logic to trigger the integration for the submitted data. To do this, head over to the conditional logic section. You have the option to create a new conditional logic or use an existing one. Make sure to set the Action behavior to “Always” and check the Integration under Additional Actions. Then, select your desired Integration, in this case, “Zoho Analytics API“. Once done, just click on Update.

Every integration has a timeline that you can use to check the success or error status of the integration. To see your response, just head over to the Response section in Bit Form, click on your record, and then scroll down. Below your Timeline, click on Show Integration Logs.
