Bit Form allows you to create online forms for your website and receive real-time webhooks on successful form submission. With Zapier you can trigger a Zap from the submission of a form on your website, and once you do that, you can choose which of your connected applications or services you want to get notified about.

Authorization of Zapier Integration

To set up the Zapier integration in Bit Form, simply go to the Bit Form plugin and open up the form you want to work on. Then, head to the form settings and look for the integrations section. Click on the plus icon to add a new integration, and search for Zapier from the available options.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

To get your Zapier Webhook URL, follow these steps:

• Access your Zapier account.
• Click on the plus icon located at the top left corner, then select “Zaps.”
• Assign a name to your Zap.
• Click on “trigger.”
• Search and choose “Webhook” as the trigger.
• Select “Catch Hook” for the event.
• Proceed by clicking “Continue,” and your “Zapier webhook URL” will be provided.

• Now, copy your Zapier webhook URL.
• Go to the Bit Integrations page and paste your “Webhook URL” in the “Link” field.
• Set the “Method” type to “POST.”
• Next, add the “URL Parameter“.
• Click on the “Test Webhook” button.
• Return to Zapier, confirm the received data, and subsequently click on “Continue with selected record.”

To add an Action in Zapier, follow these steps:

• Click on “Action.”
• Search and choose the action where you wish to send your data. In this example, we’ll select “Zoho Sheet.“
• Select your desired event.
• Connect with your account where you intend to send the data. If you’re already connected, select your connection.
• Choose your Workbook and worksheet.
• Map your fields accordingly.
• You can test your steps or skip this step.
• Finally, click on “Publish.”

Please return to the integrations page in order to save the integration and then click on “Next.“

Once you have configured the desired settings for the integration, click the Save & Finish button to save the integration.

Configuring the conditional logic

Now, let’s set up some conditional logic to trigger the integration for the submitted data. To do this, head over to the conditional logic section. You have the option to create a new conditional logic or use an existing one. Make sure to set the Action behavior to “Always” and check the Integration under Additional Actions. Then, select your desired Integration, in this case, “Zapier Web Hooks“. Once done, just click on Update.

Every integration has a timeline that you can use to check the success or error status of the integration. To see your response, just head over to the Response section in Bit Form, click on your record, and then scroll down. Below your Timeline, click on Show Integration Logs.
