There are so many cool, half-hidden alleys and backyards in Chiang Mai. Around every corner, you find something interesting that makes you stop and take a closer look. It never ends, and I love it. 😎

A narrow urban alleyway is adorned with vibrant graffiti, lit by glowing lights that cast shadows along the ground.

It was just a year ago since I was last in Chiang Mai, and I’ve already spotted some new cool street art I hadn’t seen before. This one’s from yesterday.

A mural depicts two boxers fighting in front of a stylized graffiti background, surrounded by greenery.

Watched: Jurassic World Rebirth 🍿

One of those time-passing movies that feels like a decent watch on a long flight, when you can’t go anywhere. Which is exactly the case for me right now, on a plane to Thailand.

Finished reading: Eldslandet (Vanessa Frank, #1) by Pascal Engman 📚

This was the first book by Pascal Engman that I’ve read, and I really enjoyed it. It’s gripping from the start, and I loved how two very different worlds are slowly and skillfully woven together as the story unfolds.

Doing some CSS and tested ChatGPT and Claude against each other. I asked the same question to both and got two different suggestions. Then I put them together and asked which one was best. ChatGPT recommended Claude’s solution, and Claude recommended ChatGPT’s 😅 In the end, I went with my own combo.

Watched: Scarface 🍿

Rewatched it… again. Still great. It also has one of my favorite movie quotes. No, it’s not “Say hello to my little friend!”, but this one:

I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.

You know you’re a design geek when a license plate like this gives you cozy feelings. I spent the rest of the trip trying to figure out the paint hex value. It looked like a solid #232a3c to me.

A Volvo car with a visible license plate drives on a multi-lane highway with other vehicles and road signs.

Watched: The Beast in Me Season 1 📺

It was okay. No more, no less. A bit too predictable, and it often felt like an “ABC miniseries tutorial” playing out exactly as expected. Not bad, just never surprising.

As a little Swedish fika Sunday tinkering, I decided to make a lightweight version of my Bearming theme for Bear blog. The new BearMin theme shares the same philosophy, good readability and modern standards, but in a leaner format. Happy blogging! 🐻

Watched: The Terminal List: Dark Wolf 📺

On paper, it sounded like it would be right up my alley. In reality, it just did not quite land for me. Not bad, just not as good as I had imagined I would find it.
