Aneek Chatterjee

Aneek Chatterjee, Ph.D. is a senior academic and analyst on international relations. He is based in Kolkata, India. Till recently, he was  Professor and Head of Political Science at Presidency University, Kolkata, India. Earlier, he served as a full-time faculty of political science at Presidency College, Kolkata, one of India's best colleges.  He has authored and edited 16 books; and contributed more than 100 research articles in leading national and international journals and volumes.  He was a Fulbright Visiting Professor, attached to the Center for South Asian Studies, University of Virginia, U.S.A. He also received the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR, Govt. of India) Visiting Chair in Political Science/International Relations to teach at reputed foreign universities. He was invited to lecture at different American universities on issues of South Asian politics, and International Relations. He presented research papers at international academic conferences in France, Japan, USA, Slovenia, Hungary, Australia, China, Thailand and India; and visited Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Germany, Slovakia and Spain  on academic work. Dr. Chatterjee is regularly invited by Indian Universities, Research Institutions, TV and Radio channels, and Chambers’ of Commerce to deliver lectures on topics related to South Asian and International politics. He served as member in the Editorial Boards of five National / International academic journals.

Aneek Chatterjee is also a known voice in Indian English Poetry circles and published more than 500 poems in reputed international journals and anthologies. A Pushcart Prize Nominee, he received the Alfredo Pasilono Memorial International Poetry Award. He authored and edited 5 poetry anthologies
