Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) is one of the native communities transformed by the tension of transmigrati... more Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) is one of the native communities transformed by the tension of transmigration and palm oil plantations. This study aims to determine the pattern of living, gender relations, and knowledge of local food in SAD community. By using qualitative research methods, this study showed that the SAD community condition is toward the threat of "livelihood and food security crisis". Furthermore, this threat has implications for the inherent meaning of food security in SAD community, namely food as the identity, the exchange tools, and religion. This threat causes a shift in role of gender in SAD community in the distribution of work and responsibilities, access to resources assets, and relations to authority in decision making between men and women. However, the social and cultural strength in the form of SAD community kinship systems, beliefs and the cosmos, as well as knowledge of local food gives the meaning of importance of building SAD communities through economic empowerment and food institutions that can provide a living accessibility and gender responsive food availability for SAD community that reside both inside and outside the forest.

The study used Survey methods and was conducted from April to August 2012 in Padang and Serang Districts.The The total number of 96 students from Padang District and 90 students from Serang District were selected purposively.The streed food issues data was taken through focus grroup discussion of stakeholder (teachers, parents of students, vendors, and staff of the relevant agencies) and was analyzed using Interpretative Structure Modelling (ISM). The result showed that there are six determinats of street food safety issues namely: low level of street food vendor moral; a harmful additive still sold freely; coachingandsupervisiontostreet food vendorare stilllow; very low prices of harmful additives; The government still allowed the production of a harmful additives; additional ingredient dangerous; supervision on hawker food producers school children is still not a priority program.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan karakteristik usaha nelayan kecil dan jaringan sosial dalam mengakses pembiayaan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Desember tahun 2022 yang difokuskan di lokasi Marunda, Jakarta Utara menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tipe studi kasus. Informan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang dan dipilih secara purposive, terdiri dari unsur nahkoda, anak buah kapal (ABK), bakul/pedagang pengumpul, koperasi, Lembaga Pengelola Modal Usaha Kelautan dan Perikanan (LPMUKP), penyuluh perikanan, dinas perikanan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar nelayan di Marunda memiliki dua jenis alat tangkap dengan mayoritas menggunakan jaring dan bubu. Keunikan nelayan ABK di Marunda adalah melakukan penangkapan dengan membawa alat tangkap sendiri dan membayar komisi kepada pemilik perahu. Pada tahap awal usaha, nelayan mengandalkan dana pribadi, dan keluarga. Nelayan yang memiliki aset akan meminjam kepada lembaga pembiayaan formal dan jika tidak punya asset akan meminjam kepada bakul/bos. Pada dasarnya nelayan tidak mau meminjam karena tidak mau terikat dengan bakul/bos ataupun kehawatiran tidak bisa membayar cicilan jika meminjam ke bank. Apabila nelayan mengalami kerugian usaha dan tidak memiliki aset untuk dijaminkan, maka nelayan akan meminjam kepada bakul/bos. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan yang perlu dilakukan adalah membuat program pembiayaan untuk nelayan kecil dengan memperhatikan karakteristik dan jaringan sosialnya. Program harus diprioritaskan pada nelayan yang tidak memiliki modal dan aset. Lembaga pembiayaan informal perlu dilibatkan dalam pengembangan program pembiayaan nelayan tersebut.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the attachment of economic activity in social networks a... more The purpose of this study was to analyze the attachment of economic activity in social networks among entrepreneurs in Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia. This research was conducted in Cirebon Regency, for a period of 6 months, from May to October 2019. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The results of the study found that: first, local entrepreneurs (genuine) in the rattan business sector have been running for a very long time. Second, as a result of historical formation, there is a wide network both between entrepreneurs and between entrepreneurs with certain institutions and community structures. Thrid, the map of economic network attachment in social networks shows the diversity of attachments between economic networks and social networks. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk menganalisis keterlekatan tindakan ekonomi dalam jaringan sosial di kalangan enterpreneur Cirebon Jawa Barat Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Cirebon, dengan waktu 6 bulan, dari bulan Mei sampai Oktober 2019. Metode penelitian ini, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: pertama, pengusaha lokal (genuin) dalam bidang usaha rotan telah berjalan sangat lama. Kedua, akibat bentukan sejarah mengakibatkan adanya jejaring yang luas baik antar enterpreneur maupun antar enterpreneur dengan kelembagaan dan struktur masyarakat tertentu. Ketiga, peta kelekatan jejaring ekonomi dalam jejaring sosial menunjukkan adanya keragaman kelekatan antara jejaring ekonomi dengan jejaring sosial.

This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews, FGDs, and observations. The results show that digital technology and social networks have an important role in the process of developing entrepreneurship in the villages of origin of the migrant workers. Meanwhile, the challenges are the lack of technological infrastructure, capital circulation, and social marketing strategies in the rural area.

The presence of women as regional heads is one strategy for the birth of a more gender-equitable policy. The efforts of women to achieve political leadership in the regions are not easy. Many factors influence women in gaining regional leadership. Therefore it is important and relevant to examine how the political communication process that women build in achieving regional leadership. The aim of the study was to identify and analyze the role of regional leaders as political communicators in local politics, and to identify the media and political communication channels used by regional leaders in gaining regional leadership. In addition, it is to formulate a political communication strategy for regional leaders in gaining regional leadership. The methodology of this study uses qualitative phenomenological approaches. The results showed that the role of regional leaders as political communicators in local politics had a lot to color the local political map, both at the provincial and district / city levels, although it was not proportional to the total number of regional heads and mandates of existing regulations. The communication channel or media commonly used by female regional leaders in this study is to use a communication and group communication approach, both directly through face-to-face meetings and through digital social media currently available. The use of the media channel was felt effective in introducing themselves, increasing the popularity and electability of female leaders in the area. The political communication strategy of women leaders in reaching regional leadership has three stages, namely networking strategies, message packaging strategies and media determination strategies.

Apabila nelayan mengalami kerugian usaha dan tidak memiliki aset untuk dijaminkan, maka nelayan akan meminjam kepada bakul/bos. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan yang perlu dilakukan adalah membuat program pembiayaan untuk nelayan kecil dengan memperhatikan karakteristik dan jaringan sosialnya. Program harus diprioritaskan pada nelayan yang tidak memiliki modal dan aset. Lembaga pembiayaan informal perlu dilibatkan dalam pengembangan program pembiayaan nelayan tersebut.
