Screw this birthday shit. I just made myself a reservation at the KOA for a lakefront camper cabin (power and a/c, no bathroom or water--but that's cool. My fave cabin, K3, became miraculously available. I will drive up Thursday after work and stay Friday night leaving Sat. AM. I need this. I need Mother Ocean and salt air and long walks and seashells--and the famous Banana French toast at my favorite beach bar for breakfast.
