Yesterday I was shaking off some tension in my hand and doing my daily hand strengthening excercises (guitarists and string players do this daily because hand cramps hurt like a bitch) and suddenly there was a very loud "ka-CHINNNNGGGG!!!" that caused every head in our area to jerk around in curiosity. My heavy silver and rose garnet ring--FLEW OFF MY HAND--and bounced off my friend's cubicle wall. Flew. Off. My. Hand. As in it's too big and slid effortlessly off my finger. And I lost 5.5 lbs this week. Small victories, friends, are still victories... |
