i'm sick. it ruined half my trip to vegas.

so lets see what's new with me. working for cra still.. downtown now... haven't been laid off yet, which is good for the bank balance, bad for morale.. house issues still plague me... we've got two bearded dragons which are awsome, but eat a fuckton of crickets and veggies... playing wow again after a 6 month layoff of playing Eve Online... playing with a bunch of ppl from work... went and saw 300 last night. that movie rocked. lookin into going back to vegas in may.. went in september and had a blast, though with michelle along i don't get to do as much of the gambling/drinking that i want to do.. so this time it's gonna be just the guys from the looks of things.. so that should rock... aside from that same old life. yeehaw.

so..... been working at cra since Jan... kinda enjoying my new job there.. house is working out pretty good, cept michelle's parents can't be arse'd to get their shit outta the garage and basement... looking foward to camping and summer in general.. missing being so far away from friends even though it is only a 20 minute drive or so.. haven't seen anybody in what seems like forever, though it's probably been closer to a month... and for the last two weeks of that, i've been sick, and haven't wanted to do much but sleep and eat.... so i finally got some drugs from the 2nd doctor i went to... and now i'm gonna lock myself in my room with a 12 of keiths and a bottle of antibiotics and defeat this monstor onces and for alls.

if you don't hear from me in 48 hours. just wait longer.

so went for a psuedo interview at a data entry place.. they seem desperate for help. and i can key! and it's only part time, and like. 11-2 for the first couple weeks. nice hours. :) michelle's in kelowna for this week. so since there's not much food in the house. i'm thinking i'll order 2-3 pizzas and make that last. someone should come and hang out with me and drink beers so i dont' feel like such a loser.

so yesterday was spent in the bathroom... vacating anything in my body that wasn't attached... today i'm mostly better... just a wicked bad headache that won't quit, and a sore back from being in bed for almost a full day.. just finished watching the first half of Battlestar Galactica season 2... don't think i've ever been so hyped up on a show as the last couple have really got me into it, unfortunately, it's just like the two stargates, where they have a 3 month hiatus midseason.. the last episode was really wicked.. saw someone on a forum phrase it like so: 'it was like getting repeatedly kicked in the nuts, only instead of waves of pain, it was waves of awsome!' so now i'm downloading the whole Firefly collection, since i've never managed to get that started, and only saw part of one ep on tv. I also got really into Dead Like Me, downloaded both seasons worth, watched them all, loved it, then i go to look up when it's coming out with season 3.. only to find out that they aren't..

yes. i'm moved. there, that update is taken care of.

ei is breathing down my neck for me to find a job. yay for getting special attention from them.. fuk. so if i get cut off then i gotta go find a supershitty job...

that's about it. my life at the moment. i suck.

so now i'm packing my stuff up to move in with michelle. i've got more shit than i thought i did, it's weird, here i thought i wouldn't have more than 2-3 boxes worth of stuff, and a bookcase full of books, my snake and my computer... i'm already up to 2 boxes and i've just packed cds, computer area action figures and decorations, and the major part of the computer junk outta my basement, still haven't gotten to my junk from my bedroom, and whatever magazines and video games and xbox and god knows what else i'll happen upon while i go thru my basement... wheefun..

so we've bought everything we need for the house now... tv, surround sound, entertainment unit for the living room, couch and loveseat, dining room set, bedroom suite... and the actual bed is on order, i just have to write the cheque to my uncle who sold it to us... then it's just a matter of getting the floors all redone upstairs with laminate, and then getting everything delivered, best buy has already fucked up and pissed me off twice, and we gave them like, a month before they had to deliver our junk, so i've checked on that today for the 3rd or 4th time depending how you wanna look at it... bastards. got shaw and mts set up.. got a tenative ph# that's really easy to remember, so that's cool..

we're going to michelle's on saturday to help her parents get the last of their stuff packed and into the moving guys hands to take over to their new place.. and we'll probably spend sunday with her neice and nephew again, and continue the swimming lessons i've been giving them in the pool the last few times they've been over, it's neet teaching kids to swim, seeing them be all terrified of the deep end, and eventually getting the hang of propelling themselves around and being cool about it.. :) it always strikes me as incredibly weird when i hear people say they can't swim.. growing up with it and being super comfortable in water has tainted my vision, and i guess since most of my friends were here 80% of the time in summer kinda made everybody i hung out with for hte longest time being able to swim... deep thoughts. :P

I'm still gonna have to go about changing my address with everything, and not forget that my license is gonna cost me an extra 250 bucks since i wrote off my moms car in the spring. ASS. and my credit card just happens to expire at the end of Aug... they'll probably just send me a new one right? only card i've ever had, and don't want it to be fucked and lose my WoW addiction.. :)

so that's about all that's goin on lately... updates are fun.

so i'm more or less bored outta my tree. still working for the time being, though atm my contract is up on friday, with all the moving expenses and whatnot, i really hope i don't end up getting laid off for at least another couple months. weather has been nice the last few days after a few weeks of constant rain, though both our a/c and pool heater are on the fritz, so it's been a bit uncomfortable. watched the 2nd season of Deadwood, great show, starting season 2 of arrested development now, as well as the last few family guys.. yay for bittorrent! looking forward to going camping this weekend, even though michelle won't be coming out with my friday night, since she has a rowing commitment to attend to.. :( i just realized just how ramble-y everything i type that isn't work related is, holy shit. fuckit.. i seem to be having one of my bouts of employment anxiety, work doesn't interest me, but it pays better than anything else i'm even remotely qualified to do.. and there's nothing i'm interested enough in to even make an attempt at going back to school or anything like that, so that blows, but is nothing new. and now moving in with michelle, and trying to at least resemble something like a responsible adult, things just kinda snowball and get on my nerves.. if anybody has a monster heist planned, or has a winning 649 ticket they wanna share with me out of the kindness of their hearts, let me know. :) if only i could make $50,000 a month in my spare time from home with only a computer with a modem, and lose 10-400 lbs with only natural herbs and no exercise, but then i guess i'd have thousands of hot barely legal teens waiting for fuck me now!#%! and things wouldn't seem so bleak... :)

So Wednesday, I figured I'd take my bike to work, got up to kimberly, came off the curb with the front tire, neglected to even out my pedals, right pedal clipped the curb, and off the handlebars i go.. Scraped the fuck outta my shoulder, banged up my wrist and leg, and had to pull a pebble outta my cheek. I ripped my only decent pair of non-swimming shorts from crotch to the bottom seam, and tore up the nice sexy shirt i was wearing... so now my shoulder is the worst of it, left it unbandaged yesterday and last night so it would scab up decent, since it was pretty gross while i was keeping it wrapped up. Can't really move my arm without that shit cracking now, tho since i couldn't move it much without muscle pain earlier, it's not so bad.

Started playing matrix online last week too, started reading into it, and found radiofreezion.com, it's an internet radio station run by matrix online players... so that's pretty cool.. they run in game contests and events and whatnots.. makes for better game music than anything else that gets included in videogames as background music. Especially since they do little reports on news type shit htat happens in the game, since the game has a fairly constant story-line progression in the works.

Been spending each of the last couple saturday's furniture shopping with michelle for the eventual move-in date... we've found a dining room set, and a bedroom set we're fairly set on.. now i just gotta find an actual bed, and it's up to me to take care of picking a couch/loveseat type combo, and a tv/entertainment center, which would also include some surround sound stuff... and maybe a dvd player... anybody with any suggestions for that type of shit holler at me. I'm off to work now to be bored for 8 hours.

So i'm currently working evenings at taxation.. fun fun.. michelle just finished up paperwork, and will be the new owner of her parents former home as of may 1st... it'll be a couple months after that til her parents and sister move out, then i'll be moving in there.. so we've been doing a lot of looking into furniture and stuff the last couple days.. money money money.. tho it's not soo bad, since all the appliances and stuff are being left.. so it's just furnishings, and electronics.. :) little intimidating, but exciting too.. good thing i took nights for the extra dough. :)
