Orca cards!

I highly doubt we'll ever get the same integration that Hong Kong has with the Octopus card, but there's always hope in alternate, more useful forms of debit/payment. I mean, how great would it be to just use a contact-less system for paying your groceries, or to badge in to your apartment building?

I'm sure I'll hear about someone saying bringing up a problem like, what if I lost my card, et cetera. I'm sure Hong Kong faced the same problems too, and found solutions that worked.

Anyway, yay. Seattle made it to the late 1990s. Now maybe our public transportation infrastructure can keep up.

Expedia's mentioned! I was a member of the group that helped name the conference rooms, and yes, we all laughed gleefully when we found out the cafeteria's floor included the Sandwich Isles. It was too perfect, and we had to go with that name. Of course, me being me, I loved it.

This is kind of embarassing. I accidentally opened Yeechi's Puzzle Pirates game and have had it open for the last 10 minutes. The login screen music is ridiculously cute and catchy. Sadly, Shazam wasn't able to figure out what the tune was. I should figure out how to link to the app store.... Shazam is probably one of the coolest apps out there for the iPhone, even if I had to pay nothing for it...oh wait.
