Beinsure Media is committed to maintaining the highest possible levels of impartial editorial standards in the content that we present on our website. All of our articles are chosen independent of any financial interests.
FactCheck Beinsure Media is a news and review fact-checking and verification platform. Editors and writers make all efforts to clarify any financial ties behind the studies on which we report.
Our team of writers strive to uphold the principles of ethical journalism by promoting truth and accuracy, independence, fairness and impartiality, humanity and transparency in the fact-checking/reporting process.
Fact Check
All Beinsure Media articles and news must pass a thorough Fact Check process prior to release. After each article is written, it then goes through our detailed review process where we carefully check for accuracy, credibility of sources, and potential conflicts of interest. Facts are sacrosanct to a fact-checker.
We therefore aim to be accurate in our fact-checking, consulting multiple sources to ensure that fact-checks are backed by sound evidence. Depending on the nature of fact-check required, we use internet tools like reverse image search or source data from official sources. Where necessary, we also reach out to the relevant person to verify a claim. We do not quote anonymous sources.
Fairness
Signatory organizations fact-check claims using the same standard for every fact check. They do not concentrate their fact-checking on any one side. They follow the same process for every fact check and let the evidence dictate the conclusions. Signatories do not advocate or take policy positions on the issues they fact-check.
Transparency of Sources
Signatories want their readers to be able to verify findings themselves. Signatories provide all sources in enough detail that readers can replicate their work, except in cases where a source’s personal security could be compromised. In such cases, signatories provide as much detail as possible.
Open Corrections Policy
Signatories publish their corrections policy and follow it scrupulously. They correct clearly and transparently in line with the corrections policy, seeking so far as possible to ensure that readers see the corrected version.
1) Purpose and Scope
Beinsure Media publishes news, analysis, explainers, and reviews focused on insurance, risk, regulation, and adjacent markets. This policy applies to all editorial content published on Beinsure Media websites, newsletters, social channels, and partner distributions.
Our core commitments are: accuracy, independence, fairness, transparency, and accountability.
2) Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial interests. Advertising, sponsorship, partnerships, affiliate relationships, and event participation do not influence what we cover, how we cover it, or conclusions we publish.
Separation controls
- The editorial team operates independently from sales, advertising, and partnerships.
- Advertisers and sponsors do not review, approve, or edit editorial content.
- Sponsored content is produced and labeled under separate rules (see Section 8).
3) Sourcing Standards (Written Rules)
We require sourcing that a third party can audit.
Minimum sourcing requirements
- News and factual claims must be supported by primary sources whenever feasible (e.g., laws/regulations, court filings, official statistics, company filings, transcripts, direct documentation) and/or credible secondary sources (reputable outlets, peer-reviewed research, recognized industry bodies).
- For any material claim, we aim to include at least two independent sources, unless the claim is itself a primary document (e.g., a filing or statute).
- We link to source documents when available, or provide enough identifying detail for readers to locate them (title, author, date, issuing body, document ID).
Source quality hierarchy (preferred order)
- Primary documents / direct data
- Direct on-the-record statements
- Independent subject-matter experts (identified)
- Reputable secondary reporting (with clear attribution)
What we do not do
- We do not present rumors or unverified claims as fact.
- We do not rely on a single anonymous assertion for a serious allegation.
4) Anonymous Sources (Thresholds and Controls)
Beinsure Media’s default is on-the-record sourcing. We do not quote anonymous sources.
5) Fact-Checking and Verification (Enforceable Workflow)
All Beinsure Media articles follow a documented pre-publication process proportional to risk.
Verification steps (baseline)
- Confirm names, titles, dates, figures, locations, and quotations.
- Validate claims against primary documents where possible.
- Confirm media authenticity (e.g., reverse image search, metadata checks when available).
- Ensure conclusions match evidence and uncertainty is clearly labeled.
Pre-publication review gates
- Reporter/Writing Check: source list and claim-by-claim verification notes completed.
- Editor Review: structure, fairness, legal/ethical risk scan, conflict checks, headline accuracy.
- High-Risk Review (required when applicable): allegations of wrongdoing, major financial/market impact, sensitive personal claims, or significant reputational risk. This includes additional corroboration and may include legal review.
We maintain internal verification notes for accountability.
6) Fairness and Impartiality
We pursue evidence-led reporting and apply consistent standards regardless of topic, company, or stakeholder.
Fairness practices
- We seek comment from subjects of significant criticism or allegation and give a reasonable opportunity to respond.
- We represent uncertainty honestly and avoid overstating conclusions.
- We distinguish clearly between news, analysis, opinion, and sponsored material.
7) Conflicts of Interest and Disclosures (Hardened Requirements)
Beinsure Media requires both institutional and per-article transparency.
Staff and contributor COI rules
- Editors and writers must disclose relevant financial interests, consulting, employment, investments, gifts, travel sponsorship, and close personal relationships that may create a real or perceived conflict.
- When a conflict is significant, we will reassign the story, add an editor, or add prominent disclosures.
Per-article disclosures (mandatory when relevant)
Each article must disclose if the subject is:
- a current or recent advertiser,
- a sponsor or partner,
- an event sponsor/participant,
- an affiliate commerce relationship (for reviews/links).
Disclosures must be placed prominently (top or near the first relevant mention) and use plain language.
8) Advertising, Sponsorship, Affiliate Links, and Sponsored Content
Labels and separation
- Sponsored content must be clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” and must not be presented as independent editorial reporting.
- Affiliate links must be disclosed (e.g., “We may earn a commission…”), and editorial ratings/conclusions are not for sale.
- Advertising design must not imitate news formatting in a way that confuses readers.
Editorial control
- Beinsure Media retains final say over editorial content. Sponsors cannot dictate conclusions, suppress coverage, or require favorable framing.
9) Corrections and Updates
Beinsure corrects verified factual errors and updates stories when new information becomes available.
How changes are handled
- Correction: fixes a verified factual error (numbers, names, dates, attribution).
- Clarification: improves wording to prevent misunderstanding without changing facts.
- Update: adds new verified information after publication.
Implementation
- Corrections and updates are made promptly after verification.
- Articles may be revised without a public change log.
- The current version of an article is the authoritative version.
10) Editorial Credibility Signals and Institutional Accountability
To ensure readers can evaluate our reliability, Beinsure Media publishes and maintains:
- A public corrections log and correction metrics over time.
- A transparent description of our funding model (advertising, sponsorship, affiliate, subscriptions, events, etc.).
- A description of editorial independence controls (separation of sales/editorial; disclosure standards; review gates).
- A methodology page for reviews and rankings (criteria, testing approach, weighting, and update cadence).
11) Content Types and Labeling Standards
We label content clearly so readers understand what they are reading:
- News (fact-based reporting, verified claims)
- Analysis (interpretation grounded in evidence, clearly framed)
- Opinion (argument and viewpoint, clearly labeled)
- Ranking/Review/Guides (methodology disclosed; affiliate disclosure if applicable)
- Sponsored/Partner Content (clearly labeled; separate workflow)
12) Reader Feedback and Reporting Errors
We provide a clear method to report concerns about accuracy, fairness, or conflicts of interest. Verified issues are addressed through corrections, clarifications, or editor’s notes as appropriate.

Beinsure Media selects all articles independently, free from any financial interests, to maintain the highest standards of impartiality. The editorial team is committed to delivering unbiased, ethical journalism that prioritizes truth, accuracy, and independence.
Each article undergoes a rigorous Fact Check process before publication. Editors review the content for accuracy, verify source credibility, and ensure there are no conflicts of interest. Fact-checkers consult multiple sources and, when needed, directly reach out for verification to guarantee thoroughness and reliability.
Beinsure Media has an open corrections policy, making updates clearly and transparently. When an error is identified, corrections are published in line with this policy to ensure that readers access the corrected information promptly and accurately.
