ICBBT 2017 - 9th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Technology

ICBBT 2017 will be held during May 14-16, 2017 in Lisbon (FCT/UNL), Portugal. 
The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Bioinformatics and Biomedical Technology. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in Portugal and abroad. 


The conference is held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Bioinformatics and Biomedical Technology and related areas.Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
  • Biomedical imaging, image processing & visualization 
  • Bioelectrical and neural engineering 
  • Biomedical devices, sensors, and artificial organs 
  • Health monitoring systems and wearable system 
  • Bio-signal processing and analysis 
  • Biometric and bio-measurement 
  • Other topics related to biomedical engineering

11th International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology - ISMICT 2017


ISMICT 2017 aims to establish a forum to present new research and development results, exchange ideas, discuss practices and share experiences among Technology and Medicine sides including healthcare, wellness, clinical therapy, and surgery as well as ICT, mechanical, and biomedical engineering. Moreover, activities of standard, regulation, and business for medical ICT devices, systems and services will be promoted by national, European and global government and industry.

1st NOVA Biomedical Engineering Workshop

This workshop will occur at the Library of Faculdade Ciências e Tecnologia (FCT) of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (UNL) - Portugal and is intended for faculty, research staff and students at all levels. It aims to disseminate ongoing research and innovation activities to Biomedical Engineering at the several schools of NOVA and other Universities.


The program includes invited speakers and will accomodate selected talks and posters presentation covering several scientific areas includind Brain-Computer Interfaces.
