  National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) 1-800-999-6673; 1-844-259-7178 (Spanish) Helps those newly diagnosed with rare diseases connect with others and find helpful resources. Offers education, advocacy, and research for the indentification, treatment, and cure for rare disorders. Check the website for a list of cancer subtypes that are included.

CSP-FLR pays for: Colon cancer screenings; Mammograms; clinical breast exams; pelvic exams & pap tests; diagnostic tests.

  Road to Recovery 1-800-227-2345 This program sponsored by the American Cancer Society provides transportation to and from treatment for cancer patients, according to needs and available resources in each community. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars. Call or go online to check availability in your area.

  Medical Motor Services 585-654-7030 Medical Motor Services provides senior citizens and individuals with disabilities and special needs the specialized transportaiton they need to receive non-emergency medical services and to remain involved in their community.

Hope Lodge provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to private rooms or connect with others.

  Chemo Angels The Chemo Angels program offers support to those battling a cancer diagnosis and undergoing I V chemo treatment. The volunteer angels offer positive support via weekly cards and letters to patients while they're going through chemo treatments. (This is a free service.)
