Careers

Thank you for your interest in the Breast Cancer Coalition. A career at the Coalition requires a passion for serving breast and gynecologic cancer survivors. We are a small but mighty team of professionals who strive to be creative and collaborative within our walls and our community.

The Coalition aims to support those impacted by breast or gynecologic cancer from the point of diagnosis onward. Our free services focus on support, education, advocacy, and a commitment to funding regional research while prioritizing and celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In a small and evolving organization such as the Coalition, it is important to note that all employees participate in organization-wide responsibilities and tasks. At times, employee responsibilities overlap and require a willingness to assist and support one another. The Coalition asks that employees reflect the organizations’ philosophy and values in the performance of their positions including teamwork, confidentiality, sensitivity, basic knowledge of breast and gynecologic cancer (over time). Equally, employees are expected to demonstrate commitment and loyalty to the Coalition’s mission and goals.

Breast Cancer Coalition Inclusion Statement:

The Breast Cancer Coalition honors diversity in all its forms including but not limited to: race, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, socioeconomic background, physical abilities, gender, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment within the Coalition, and we welcome all individuals to join our supportive and safe community.

A Note on Language:

We are actively learning and working to be anti-racist and equitable in both our actions and language. We strive to use language that is as inclusive as possible, recognizing that language shapes how we “see” and honor the diverse and intersecting communities we serve. We are committed to inviting, listening to, and valuing a wide range of perspectives and preferences, ensuring all voices are heard and respected.
