Installation
Automatic Installation
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard
- Go to Plugins > Add New
- Search for “Wapi”
- Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”
- Go to Wapi > Setup Wizard and enter your API token
Manual Installation
- Download the plugin zip file
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard
- Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Choose the zip file and click “Install Now”
- Activate the plugin
- Go to Wapi > Setup Wizard and enter your API token
Getting Your API Token
- Create a free account at wapigpt.ai
- Add your site domain in the dashboard
- Copy the API token displayed
- Paste it in the plugin setup wizard

Is Wapi free?

Yes! Wapi offers a free plan with 100 WU (Wapi Units) per month. This is enough for casual use. Premium plans are available for power users.

What are WU (Wapi Units)?

WU are credits consumed when you perform actions via the AI assistant. Reading content costs 1 WU, creating/editing costs 2 WU. Your monthly allowance resets each month.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All communication uses HTTPS encryption. Your API token is stored securely (hashed) and never transmitted in plain text after initial setup. We follow GDPR guidelines and store data in the EU.

Does it work with Yoast SEO / RankMath?

Yes! Wapi integrates with both Yoast SEO and RankMath for SEO metadata management.

Can I use it on multiple sites?

Yes, depending on your plan. Free and Starter plans include 1 site. Pro+ plans include 3 sites, Business includes 10, and Agency includes 50.

What happens if I run out of WU?

Your requests will be paused until your monthly allowance resets or you upgrade your plan. You can also purchase WUX (permanent credits) that never expire.
