I'm not deleting the journal because I like the name (and it's occasionally been handy to have a backrefrence to the few entries posted.) However, for your information, assuming you're not already a member:
It's kind of gone dead now. Firstly, I've quit downloading since this past summer, because I found it overly addictive to have so much available to me and because I already had quite a bit of stuff to entertain myself with... Secondly, no one else really got into using it. Thirdly, the idea was anyway that we were all using the same sources and we'd end up all downloading the same thing, sometimes several gigabytes of data, which was a waste of bandwidth and time since we know each other personally and could easily hand off a CD or send directly or the like, so you wouldn't really fit in.
It didn't go friends-only, there just hasn't been any new posts since whenever the last one was made.
If you're just looking to get stuff to download, I highly recommend looking into Bit Torrent. Suprnova.org is probably the biggest (and therefore the best) site to go to, but Google for other torrent sites too, because there is for instance MyMacgyver.tk if you're into MacGyver episodes, which SuprNova is only beginning to share recently; here lists quite a few sites, and there's some info here. I recommend you be somewhat careful downloading from SuprNova the very early releases of movies still in theatres, and also be wary of music before its official release for sale.
If you really want to join, I'll let you, but I'm just saying there's no point.

So I spoke to this guy who was going to give us Season 2 and Season 3 of Pete & Pete, except he was missing two episodes... and low and behold, both were episodes I had and could transfer to him. Soon we'll have them all; I think he's got all the specials too. (I'm only missing the first and last, "Valentine Day's Massacre" and "New Year's Pete.") I have no idea about the shorts, I've only got a few, but if they're out there we'll track them all down.
I have all of Season 1, and most of Season 2; all of Season 2 and 3 will soon be on its way, though.

I downloaded a bunch of Gilmore Girls in high-quality mpeg's. 3x09, 3x11 and 3x12. They are up for grabs.
Gilmores I need: 2x11, 2x12, 2x17, 3x01, 3x02, 3x03, 3x04, 3x07, 3x08, 3x10, 3x13, 3x14, etc I am, however, working on them.
