EXHIBITION GAME: CARDINALS AT CARDINALS
Tomorrow is Opening Day of the 2010 season! To celebrate this fact (and distract myself from a mysterious bug in Betty) I wanted to post an example game to the comm, along with a little explanation of how to read it. This is what I'll post for every game this season; it's up to the community as a whole to write the commentaries.
For this game, I pitted the 1934 St. Louis Cardinals (affectionately and for our purposes known as the "Gashouse Gang") against the 2006 St. Louis Cardinals. Both teams were World Series champions, beating the Detroit Tigers of their respective years in four games. In this exhibition, it was the modern Cardinals who came out on top.
