Would you use a car-sharing membership?
Car-sharing is an option to replace personal car ownership or for families to reduce from two vehicles to one vehicle or e-bikes. Members would have self-serve access to a fleet of vehicles available on-demand, 24/7, from locations right in their own neighbourhoods. With cars available for short or longer-term rentals, car-sharing provides the flexibility of owning a car without the costs (maintenance, servicing, repairs) and commitments (insurance, registration, parking space) of owning one. Car-sharing is beneficial in communities like Banff where parking space availability is limited, and new developments do not require parking to be provided on-site to tenants.
The Town of Banff and Communauto are launching a preliminary study to determine the appetite for a potential car-sharing service in Banff. Help us determine community interest by answering this quick questionnaire!
