There are only four days left to post your fics and art! So, if anyone needs an extension let us know on this post. And don't forget to comment on those that have been posted!

Just a reminder that the fest is now live and you guys can post whenever you're ready. We're super excited to see what you all have come up with!

Prompts are now open to non sign ups! You can find them here Please comment with your name and the number of the prompt so we can mark it off.

This is the second wave of prompts! If you didn't see anything you liked in the first round, hopefully you will find something here! Anything not taken in round one will be listed here as well!

1) This is the second wave of prompts. Any prompts that weren't claimed from the first wave will be in the second wave as well.
2) Comment with the number of the prompt you would like to select. Fics must be at least 1,000 words long, and betas are highly recommended.
3) You can post your fic to the comm between February 14th and February 28th. Please join the community to do so. You may post a link to a personal/writing journal, but it must not be locked.
4) If you finish your fic you may claim a second fic, if and only if all of the people who have signed up for fic have claimed.
5) If you are posting art, you may post under the same guidelines. Join the comm and post when it is done. If you finish, you may claim another prompt, as long as every artist has claimed.
6) An artist may claim something a writer has claimed, but a prompt may only be claimed by one of each. Once a fic has been claimed for art, it will be italicized. Once it has been claimed for fic, it will be bolded. If it is claimed for both, it will be crossed out.
7) If you missed sign ups, you may claim a prompt, if and only if everyone who signed up has claimed a prompt. This goes for both fic and art.
8) Please point any questions or concerns to the relevant post, and the mods will get back to you as quickly as we can. If your second choice prompt is not on this list, please let us know. We will add it.
9) This works on a first come, first serve basis. The mods will work as quickly as we can to make sure that you know what's taken and what's not. Please make sure your choice has not been claimed before claiming it.
10) Please tell us in your comment if you want it for fic or art. We have a list, but it would go faster if you'd do that for us! Do not try to claim if you haven't signed up. We will make a post when we're ready for people to claim who missed sign ups or for people who want a second prompt.

This is just a quick reminder that prompts and sign ups close midnight January 12. Any one who doesn't sign up but wants to participate is eligible for claiming from January 20. We're excited to see what you guys come up with.

And here we have the prompts post! You may leave two prompts, a first choice and a second choice up until Wednesday,12th January 2011. We'll post a first round of prompts on Thursday, 13th January 2011 which will be open for three days and then the second wave will open up. Both waves will remain open for the duration of the challenge.

Prompts may be as specific as I want this pairing or vague. Prompts may contain any bandom band (Panic, The Young Veins, Fall Out Boy, MCR, The Cab, etc.) as well as smaller bands which aren't written as much (The Like, Hey Monday, Phantom Planet etc.). Your prompt must contain at least one member of a bandom band. Anything else is fair game.

Prompt comments are screened and anonymous commenting is on for those who desire it.

An example prompts comment would look like this:

Choice 1: Panic! fic, Post-split Brendon/Spencer, working on an album and pining. Misunderstandings good, too.

Choice 2: TYV/The Like, Ryan/Z college AU, blah blah, you get the idea.

If you have any questions feel free to ask them. If you're concerned about us not getting your prompt, don't worry. If we get to the end of our prompts posting and you don't see yours, then let us know!

edit: just to get rid of any confusion, your two prompts can be for the same pairing if you so choose! (also, they do not have to be Valentine's Day related.)

Sign up here if you think you'll be interested in writing and/or doing art. You've got until Midnight on Wednesday 12 January to sign up. But don't worry! If you've missed the sign ups, or you're unsure if you want to sign up, you can still write. We'll make a post announcing when everyone who's signed up has claimed a prompt, and then it will be open for the people who missed out! You just have to let us know with an I'm in and whether or not you'll be writing or doing art here, so that we can get a tentative number!
