I haven’t watched any of the Olympics, couldn’t care less………………

But, it’s nice to see the Canucks get beat.

Very quiet week, not much to report at all.  I woke up with a bad headache on Wednesday, went to work anyway, and came home early as it got worse.  Went away after a 2 hour nap in the dark.

Free fish sandwich day on Friday at work…..

Well, being that it was Saturday, it was “Saturday night pizza night”

Nope, no pizza, more leftovers from dinners during the week.

Weather for the weekend got cold and I did not do any outside work.  Did a lot of computer stuff though.

Wife has had to go to an eye specialist for a vison issue, hypertensive retinopathy.  That Dr. had her go to her GP and she wrote a script for “Amlodipine besylate 5 mg”.  I’ve been on her for several years about her diet, but she doesn’t listen to me…………

So, it seems that there was a “super bowl” last weekend.

Didn’t watch it, have watched NFL in 20 years.

I did see the lyrics to the song that the asswipe halftime monkey sang…….  Hope the network has record setting fines for allowing that on the air.

Canucks are cheating in a beer drinking game, “Curling”.  Fucking Canucks.

Took mom out for dinner on Friday to “Culver’s”, that’s one of her favorite places to eat.

$42.oo for 4 people.

I tried the chicken sandwich; it was rather remarkably  unremarkable………..  Very disappointed.

Should have had the burger………………..

Weather for the weekend was nice, but I did not feel like going out to work in the garage.

I did have an indoor project:

Easy little project, I’d swore that I replaced that unit a year or two ago.

Cold, but warming up, no rain/snow.

Apparently the Olympics started.  I heard some douchebag on the American ski team speak poorly of the US  and/or current administration.  “You don’t want me to watch the Olympics, cus that’s how you get me to not watch the Olympics.”

Also, the “Super Bowl” was on Sunday?

I made a run to Wally World for light bulbs, furnace filter, Draino and I got some groceries there instead of making a second stop to get food.  I found some whole milk mozzarella that was less than $4.00lb and good golly was that cheese GREAT !!  That will be my go to cheese from now on……………

I also had to go to the bank to make a deposit and while there, I used the change counting machine to cash out some coins.  I turned in $117.35, about $3.00 of it was nickels and dimes, and the rest , quarters.  Almost every time I use the change counter, I count out exactly what I have because I don’t trust the machine.  I also always try to take an exact dollar amount because it makes no sense to get back change that I just turned in………..  The funny thing this time was, I turned in almost 500 coins, and not a single one of them was rejected…………..  That’s weird.

Not much to report……..

Snowed Friday afternoon, about 2 inches of light, fluffy snow.  Easy to shovel on Saturday morning but freakink cold !!!

Put green olives on with the pepperoni and it was excellent !!

Sunday, I made another trip to Wisconsin with my brother to work on cleaning our mother’s house.  We worked for about four hours and got a fair amount done, lots and lots and lots to go…………

And then we spent a couple of hours driving to very remote areas in Wisconsin to pick up parts for the tractor restoration.
