After the day I've had at work today, I'm sooo glad that I come home every evening to a man who is logic-driven rather than ego-driven.

A new experience for me today - I got called by a headhunter working for a competitor of ours.

I told them I was happy where I was for now, but to keep my number on file for future consideration - just in case.

I didn't tell them that I know the guy who owns the company they're trying to recruit for, and that I would never work for him.

And then I went straight into a meeting with our MD and told him all about it. Because it doesn't do any harm for your boss to know that you're a desireable commodity, right?
