2-AAAA
I lost my schedule...and it sucks. But anyways this is region 2-AAAA
2-AAAA (8)
Baldwin
Effingham County
Evans
Greenbrier
Jones County
Lakeside, Evans
Statesboro
Wayne County

Its hard to predict how everything will pan out this year. Statesboro made it to the AAAA finals last year before they lost to Marist. They lost their coach so rebuilding should be interresting. If I had to pick today how I think everything will turn out I would say Bladwin will win the region. The top 4 make the playoffs so 2-4 will probably be Wayne County, Effingham, and Statesboro. Wayne County is not a good cluth team. In the past they have gone 7-3 but those 3 losses have all been region losses. Effingham has a great young running back, with the only problem being he is young. Quarterback is a role they will have to fill so things have to get going quick if they wanna make the playoffs. Statesboro has always been good so I think they will edge in. Effingham has a strong non-region schedule which can help make them better. Big games early make you better later. So it looks to be interesting. A little over 2 months I think till kick off. I should be at the Kell Classic to so I'll let ya know about that.

AAAA
Georgia's Regions had a make over this year, much like they do every two years. Georgia has A-AAAAA, with AAAAA having the "power houses." 6 of the 8 Regions were given to Atlanta Area School forciing many schools to move down to lower regions. Talent can be found in any region in Georgia, but look for AAAA or AA to be the most competitive. AAAA will be my main focus because my alma mata (Effingham County) plays in this region.

NBA Draft
Congrats to Dwight Howard for being taken number 1 overall in the NBA draft last night. Howard was drafted straight out of high school. The amazing thing here being that 3 of the past 5 years a high schooler has been taken 1st over all, 2 of the 3 have come from Georgia. We aren't known for great teams...but obviously we got good high school players. Although Brown hasn't prefored well for the Wizards yet...I think Howard will do much better by being pluged right in to the Orlando Magic's organization. Best of luck to ya man!
