Knowing where to start can be the tricky part. Alongside our friends at CAIC and NWAC, we developed Avalanche Aware to help you get started with the basics and guide you with your next steps.

One of the first things you’ll learn is how to read an avalanche forecast. Use avalanche.org to find your local avalanche center within the United States to start learning about the forecast in your area.

ONGOING EDUCATION
