The Avalanche Package Builder is a tool that allows System Administrators to create and manage third-party applications, such as application files, support files (e.g. dlls), configuration files, and configuration utility plug-ins, for deployment via Avalanche Site, Avalanche Mobility Center, and Mobile Manager Enterprise.

All types of files including application, support files such as dlls, and configuration files can be part of an Avalanche package. In addition, configuration utility plug-ins used to configure your application can also be added to provide application management.
The System Administrator has the ability to define the scope of the Avalanche package, referred to as selction criteria. These may include a wide variety of variables such as ModelName, OS Version, and custom properties defined by the System Administrator.
