HappyForms

Let’s meet HappyForms, a great solution for your website communication needs.

Install HappyForms AutomatorWP integration

After installing this great plugin, you will need to get our free integration for AutomatorWP, so please, download it from your WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new.

On the search field, type HappyForms AutomatorWP and click Install and then Activate.

Create a Contact Form

Just going to Forms > All Forms and there, we will see there is already one created. Let’s navigate into it and add an email field, and update the form.

The automation mode

  1. Go to AutomatorWP > Automation > New Automation
  2. Select the anonymous one. Remember AutomatorWP can only set anonymous automations with only one trigger.
  3. Trigger section > HappyForms > Guest submits a form, and we have to select Contact Us (the form that had already created).

Let’s go to the Actions section. You can choose between using an existing user or creating a new one. We recommend selecting the first option: Existing user, to check if the user who has filled the contact form is already created on your system.

  1. Choose the Existing user option.
  2. Choose the option Email from Field to search the user selection field.
  3. In the field value input, select the hamburger button and click on Guest submits {form} and then on the Form field value option.
  4. After clicking on the form field value, you will see a filled text on the field with a structure similar to TRIGGER_ID:form_field:FIELD_NAME. Let’s see every element:
  • TRIGGER_ID is a number generated automatically by WordPress, so you do not have to touch it. Yeah, please do not touch it. Let it like it is.
  • form_field is the name of the tag you are using, so you have to keep this text as it is too.
  • FIELD_NAME is the only text you have to change by the Field Name of your HappyForms. You can find it on Forms > All Forms > the form you are using.

HappyForms creates its own FIELD_NAME, so you will need to create a sample test entry to see on AutomatorWP logs which name is generated to fill the tags.

  1. Enter the Field Name in those places you would like to map from this form to create your user.
  2. Finally, press Save the action and Save & Activate the Automation.

Your HappyForms form is ready to get leads.
