Triggers are the elements in an automation that determines when an automation will run a perform it’s actions. Triggers are known as “When this happens”.
A trigger can be almost any user activity on a WordPress site (logging in, commenting on a post, purchasing a product, completing a course, etc).

Adding triggers to your automation
To add a new trigger to your automation is as simple as click on the Add trigger button on the triggers area:
Now you are able to choose the integration you want to add the trigger from:
Next, you will see the full list of available triggers from this integration (image shows triggers from WordPress):
After choose the integration trigger, the new trigger will be added to the triggers list:
The last step for every new trigger is configure it with the options you want. It’s as simple as click on the option you want to change and fill the option form with the configuration you want:
On click on the Save button, the trigger will get update with the configuration you setup:
Many triggers include the option to work with any or specific elements.
If you check the previous screenshots, the “User views a post” trigger starts with “any post” which means that trigger can be completed on visiting any post, without restriction.
But on last screenshot, we updated the option from “any post” to the “Hello world!” post, after this change, the trigger can be completed only by visiting the Hello world! post.
