Stellantis has revealed detailed specifications of the Euro-spec 2027 Jeep Avenger, introducing a major mid-cycle update for the smallest SUV in the Jeep lineup. The updated Avenger arrives with revised styling, refreshed cabin materials, updated technology, and a new engine option.
The SUV also adopts styling cues from newer Jeep models such as the Jeep Compass and will additionally be offered with a special 85th Anniversary Edition.
The updated Avenger debuts a revised version of Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille, now featuring illuminated LED elements for improved nighttime visibility and a more distinctive appearance. The black grille surround used on the outgoing model has been removed, resulting in a cleaner front-end design.
The front bumper and cladding have also been redesigned, giving the SUV a more integrated and modern fascia compared to the previous split-style arrangement.
The overall silhouette remains unchanged, retaining the muscular wheel arches and upright SUV stance. The facelifted Avenger additionally receives new LED Matrix headlamps, roof rails, and updated 17-inch and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
At the rear, the taillamps have been revised, although the overall design remains similar to the outgoing model. Two new exterior paint options — Forest and Bamboo — have also been introduced.
Jeep claims the updated SUV offers improved off-road geometry with approach, breakover, and departure angles of up to 22 degrees, 21 degrees, and 35 degrees respectively.
The cabin of the 2027 Avenger has been updated with a stronger focus on comfort and material quality. While the layered dashboard layout has been retained, the lower section now receives padded inserts. Soft-touch materials have also been added to the door panels.
The Selec-Terrain controller now gets a rubber-coated finish and is housed within a red frame for a more rugged appearance.
Altitude and Summit trims receive new cloth and vinyl upholstery combinations, while the strong-hybrid 4xe variant introduces washable and durable green interior materials aimed at outdoor-oriented buyers.
The updated Avenger also gets a new front-facing camera system enabling a 360-degree surround-view function.
One of the biggest updates is the introduction of Stellantis’ new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This three-cylinder engine produces 100 bhp and 205 Nm of torque.
The new engine receives an updated engine block, revised pistons and piston rings, along with a more durable timing chain designed to improve long-term reliability.
The Avenger continues to offer the existing 110 bhp mild-hybrid powertrain paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This setup uses an integrated electric motor powered by a 0.9 kWh battery pack, enabling pure-electric driving for up to 1 km at speeds below 30 kmph.
The stronger plug-in hybrid 4xe variant produces a combined 143 bhp and features all-wheel drive through a rear-mounted electric motor.
Jeep will also continue offering the fully electric Avenger equipped with a 54 kWh battery pack powering a 154 bhp electric motor. The EV version offers a claimed driving range of up to 400 km and supports DC fast charging speeds of up to 100 kW.
Jeep has also announced a special 85th Anniversary Edition for the Avenger lineup. Based on the Altitude or Upland trims, the special edition comes standard with the illuminated grille, exclusive fender badging, and gold accents on the bumpers.
The SUV additionally rides on 18-inch alloy wheels finished in gold.
Inside, the cabin receives tartan-pattern seats with gold stitching and “85” logos embroidered into the seatbacks. Gold stitching also extends across the dashboard, while the cabin gains a multi-colour ambient lighting system.
