Introduction

The BMW F 900 GS range was launched in India in September 2024 at a starting price tag of ₹13.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The adventure motorcycle has been designed for touring and offroad capabilities and has arrived on our shores through the CBU route. The latest GS models come with advancements in tech and performance and are powered by the same 895 cc, two-cylinder, inline engine that makes 103 bhp of max power.

The BMW F 900 GS is available in two main variants. The standard F 900 GS is priced at ₹13.75 lakh while the more touring-focused GS Adventure comes at ₹14.75 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

The BMW F 900 GS is available in two variants, with the standard version being the more off-road focused variant. The range-topping F 900 GS Adventure is the more touring-friendly variant. There are also new colours schemes available for the motorbikes. The F 900 GS is available in Sao Paulo Yellow and gets a sporty GS Trophy variant in Lightwhite and Racing Blue metallic. The F 900 GS Adventure now comes in Black Storm metallic and White Aluminium matte.

What features are available in the BMW F900 GS Adventure?

The F 900 GS series is treated to a 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen which provides all relevant information including navigation and media controls. The latest GS models come equipped with two standard riding modes: Rain and Road.

Additionally, the motorcycles include Dynamic Traction Control, cornering-optimised ABS Pro, and a dynamic brake light. On top of this, BMW offers an optional "riding modes Pro" feature, enabling the rider to manage engine drag torque control and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC).

What are the engine and specifications of the BMW F900 GS Adventure?

The new F 900 GS and GS Adventure both use an 895 cc, inline two-cylinder engine. This unit puts out 103 bhp of max power at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 93 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The gearbox on duty is a six-speed unit. When compared, the outgoing F 900 GS puts out 85 bhp at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque output of 91 Nm at 6,750 rpm.
