Alex Lola is the visionary CEO of ATME. Since the company’s inception in 2023, he has led ATME to establish a state-of-the-art digital asset exchange platform, secure regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain, and launch with ambitious goals. Under his leadership, ATME is poised to become the leading platform for asset tokenization, drive blockchain adoption, and unlock new investment opportunities in the region.

With over 15 years of professional experience in the financial sector and multinational corporations, Alex has a proven track record of success. He has held leadership positions at Société Générale Group and its subsidiaries, including a board member role for Société Générale Russia. In this role, he demonstrated his ability to scale a retail business with assets worth $7 billion. His expertise in corporate governance is further evidenced by his tenure on the boards of Société Générale Insurance Russia and United Cards Services.

Alex’s journey into finance and technology began with a strong academic foundation in information security. He earned his Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the complexities of digital security and blockchain technology. Alex’s technical acumen, coupled with his forward-thinking leadership, positions him as a key figure in driving ATME’s mission to redefine trading and investment through FinTech innovation.

Mohamed joined ATME in 2025 as Head of Business Development and leads the company’s efforts to expand its presence and client base. He brings with him a diverse background in business development, operations, consulting and external auditing.

A seasoned professional in the digital assets space, Mohamed has previously held senior operational and business development roles at Rain, the first licensed crypto asset provider in the Middle East. He also spent time at Deloitte & Touche Middle East, where he worked within the audit and assurance function, as well as consulted on regulatory projects.

Mohamed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Kent.

Alexey joined ATME in 2023 and has been leading initiatives in security tokenization and digital securities issuance, focusing on integrating blockchain-based solutions with traditional finance to drive institutional adoption.

Alexey oversees the development and execution of ATME’s product strategy of tokenizing real-world assets (RWA), including real estate-backed tokens, debt tokens, private equity, and profit-sharing tokens.

With over 15 years of experience in finance and banking across multiple geographies, Alexey brings deep expertise in modernizing capital markets and investment products through ATME’s innovative technologies and services.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Graduate Diploma in Business (majoring in Finance) from Auckland University of Technology. He is also qualified as Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.

Pavel joined ATME in 2023, bringing with him over two decades of experience in the banking and FinTech sectors. A seasoned leader in IT development and digital transformation, Pavel has held key roles of Chief Information Officer and Chief Digital Officer with leading financial institutions such as BNP Paribas Group and Société Générale Group during the last 15 years of his career.

At Société Générale, Pavel was instrumental in advancing the bank’s digital transformation, doubling digital transactions within two years, maintaining 99.99% mobile app availability, and driving 70% of credit product sales through digital channels. He also spearheaded the successful launch of a fully digital neobank for OTP Group within just six months.

Pavel holds dual degrees in technical and financial disciplines, providing him with a unique perspective that aligns perfectly with the dynamic demands of the FinTech industry.

At ATME, Pavel is focused on enhancing the company’s digital infrastructure, ensuring that the platform remains at the cutting edge of technological innovation. His deep expertise in digital transformation and FinTech positions him as a key driver of ATME’s mission to revolutionize asset trading and investment through blockchain technology.

Max became a part of the ATME team in 2022 and has been integral to transforming the platform from a tokenization tool into a comprehensive digital assets exchange. His leadership focuses on enhancing the platform’s capabilities, ensuring it upholds the highest standards of security, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

With over 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles, Max has held key positions at one of Russia’s largest stock exchanges. His expertise spans financial planning, product team management, and the development of ecosystem projects in the crypto space. A passionate advocate for cutting-edge technologies, Max previously led a team of data scientists and developers in creating advanced Affective AI solutions, earning global recognition among the top three names in the realm of emotion recognition.

His background in product development, artificial intelligence, and venture capital uniquely equips him to drive ATME’s growth and innovation. Under Max’s leadership, ATME is poised to expand its market presence and maintain its commitment to regulatory compliance and security, continuing to push the boundaries of the financial and investment industries.

Alaa joined ATME in April 2024, bringing with him over 20 years of expertise in risk management, corporate governance, and crisis management across the Middle East. He has played a critical role in transforming ATME’s risk management practices, ensuring the company’s resilience and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining ATME, Alaa held various leadership roles where he developed comprehensive risk management frameworks from the ground up, achieving industry certifications for business continuity and resilience. His efforts resulted in significant risk reductions and enhanced operational efficiency, driven by robust business continuity plans and effective data protection measures.

Alaa holds an MSc in Risk, Crisis, and Resilience Management from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Bahrain. He is a Certified Risk Professional (CMIRM) from the Institute of Risk Management, an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes, and holds an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute. Additionally, Alaa possesses several project management certifications, including PgMP, PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-ACP, and is an ISO 22301:2019 Lead Implementer.

Alaa’s strong academic background and proactive approach make him a key asset to ATME. His leadership is crucial in driving the company toward its strategic goals, ensuring long-term success and sustainability.

Since joining ATME in 2023, Hiba has played a pivotal role in upholding the company’s commitment to regulatory integrity and reliability. Her leadership has been crucial in ensuring ATME’s adherence to all relevant regulations, solidifying its reputation for trustworthiness in the industry.

With over 15 years of experience in compliance management across the financial and technology sectors, Hiba brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her previous positions include Head of Compliance at Amber Technologies, Head of Compliance at Rain, and Deputy MLRO at the Bank of Jordan, where she honed her expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments.

Hiba holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, an International Diploma in Governance, Risk, and Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA) in the United Kingdom, and is certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist by CAMS in USA.

Ashwaq joined ATME in 2023 and has since overseen all legal aspects of the business, contributing significantly to the company’s strategic growth. With extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in finance and cryptocurrency, Ashwaq brings a plethora of knowledge to her role at ATME.

Before joining ATME, Ashwaq served as a Legal Specialist at American Express, where she covered legal matters across the Middle East and North Africa for over seven years. She then advanced to the role of Head of Legal and Board Secretary at Rain, a leading cryptocurrency brokerage and custodian, where she managed legal operations across the Middle East, Turkey, and North Africa for four years.

Ashwaq holds a Bachelor of Laws from Leeds Beckett University and a Master of Laws from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Julia embarked on her role at ATME in 2024 and has since led the company’s go-to-market strategies and customer development initiatives. She brings with her over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the finance, telecom, and payment systems sectors.

Throughout her distinguished career, Julia has held key positions at global organizations such as Visa, Sberbank, and VEON, where she excelled in revamping marketing strategies and driving substantial business growth. Her expertise encompasses digital marketing, consumer-driven insights, and brand development. Her proven track record in successfully launching and elevating brands aligns seamlessly with ATME’s global growth vision.

Julia holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a professional certificate in digital marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
