About ATDC
All Georgia Entrepreneurs Are Invited to Join ATDC Educate
ATDC is Georgia’s startup incubator, providing integral startup coaching, resources, and connections to help tech founders learn, launch, and scale their companies. We’re part of Georgia Tech’s Office of Commercialization, but more importantly, we’re a community of entrepreneurs, coaches, and experts who are all-in on helping founders build real, sustainable businesses.
We’ve been around since 1980, created and funded by the Georgia General Assembly. Over the years, we’ve helped hundreds of startups grow into successful companies. ATDC graduates have attracted more than $6.2 billion in investment and generated over $14 billion in revenue here in Georgia.
If you’re a tech entrepreneur, ATDC is the place to be in Georgia.
The ATDC Difference: Startup Coaching Designed by Tech Founders for Tech Founders
Statewide Impact with Deep Georgia Connections
ATDC is a statewide innovation engine intentionally designed to strengthen Georgia’s economic future. Our statewide footprint, Georgia Tech affiliation, and public‑impact mission position us uniquely within the entrepreneurial landscape. We bridge universities, industry partners, government leaders, and founders across the entire state, giving founders access to a unified network that strengthens Georgia’s economy and expands opportunity for entrepreneurs at every stage.
Purpose-Built for Technology Innovators
ATDC was designed with a clear intention: to support founders who are creating the future through technology. Rather than broad, one‑size‑fits‑all programming, we’ve built a concentrated environment tailored to the needs of tech‑driven startups. Our mentors, curriculum, and partner network are selected specifically to accelerate innovation, technical excellence, and scalable growth.
Structured Coaching. Measureable Results.
ATDC’s support is intentional, structured, and rooted in accountability. Our coaching model combines personalized founder development with frameworks flexible enough to meet companies where they are. Our support is disciplined, data-driven, and focused on outcomes, from job creation to revenue growth and capital raised. Our mission is to help founders build durable, scalable companies with long-term impact that deliver long-term tangible economic results for Georgia.
Collaborative Ecosystem
ATDC sits at the intersection of academia, industry, investors, and government, creating a uniquely collaborative environment for startups. Because our partners trust our rigor and credibility, founders gain access to vetted pilot opportunities, meaningful investor conversations, and academic resources that accelerate growth far beyond what any one organization could provide.
We've Been You
We come from the startup world. Our staff and mentors have launched startups, scaled early‑stage teams, navigated setbacks, and pushed through the unpredictable reality of entrepreneurship. This firsthand knowledge shapes how we guide founders. We recognize the pressure, the ambition, and the drive, because they’re part of our own stories.
Founder Autonomy
At ATDC, your company remains fully yours. As a state‑funded program, we don’t take equity, steer your strategy for our benefit, or place obligations on you. Our role is to remove barriers, expand your opportunities, and help you grow on your terms. Everything we do is built around one purpose: equipping founders to build strong, enduring companies that fuel Georgia’s innovation economy.
Our Impact
2025 marked ATDC’s 45th year of powering innovation across Georgia. Our impact report tells the story of our reach, our member portfolio successes, and our vision for the next 45 years.Â
