
Gaber Magdy
Gaber Magdy was born in Qena, Egypt, in 1989. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Hons.) degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, Egypt, in 2011 and 2014, respectively, and the PhD degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Minia University, El-Minia, Egypt in 2019. Since 2012, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt, first as a Demonstrator (Assistant Researcher), and then became an Assistant lecturer during the periods of 2012-2014, and 2014-2017, respectively. From 2017 to 2019, he was a researcher in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt. His research interests include power system stability, dynamics and control, smart/micro-grid control, digital control techniques all applied to power systems, and renewable energy applications.
