The Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) publishes guidance material to help registrants meet professional practice expectations and obligations under the Professional Governance Act and ASTTBC Bylaws.
This guidance material is provided through professional practice guidelines, standards of practice, and practice bulletins. Registrants are required to regularly review, understand, and meet the intent of all guidance materials that are relevant to their area of practice. In addition to these published guidelines, registrants are expected to stay informed of, and meet, all legal requirements and obligations stipulated by the authority having jurisdiction.
