I’ve been writing on this WordPress site for more than 14 years now. (Whoa!) It’s time for something new.

Like your favorite author, your pastor, your grandmother’s neighbor, and your dental hygienist, I’m taking my writing to Substack. I’d be grateful if you followed me over there!

I’ve spent the last week or two getting (most) everything set up over there, including copying the last 4-5 years of posts. Substack is free for me to use, and I want it to be free for you to read my writing, too. Substack will probably pester you to enroll in a paid subscription to my newsletter, but all of my writing will be available with a free subscription. (If you’d like to support my writing financially, that would be great! It would give me more justification for writing regularly. However, it’s not necessary!)

I plan to continue to post every other week. Through the end of 2025, posts will appear both here at WordPress and on Substack. Then, starting in the new year, posts will only appear on Substack. (I will keep this website operational for the foreseeable future, but it won’t house any new content beginning in January.)

I am very grateful to those who have read my work here over the years. I’m also excited for what’s ahead. The URL is changing, but the name is not. Go visit me at (the new) A Small Work.
