Reframing The Global Tech Race – From Zero-Sum To Win-Win
Technology has increasingly become the new flashpoint in global relations. How has this impacted global relations, and has this ironically, ultimately forced innovation?
I, Robot – Future Of Embodied AI
Embodied AI holds transformative potential and innovative possibilities for sectors like healthcare, transport and logistics by augmenting human capabilities, automating tasks and furthering human-robot collaboration. But it also raises critical issues in ethics, accountability, bias, safety, trust, and economic impact. How can we address these issues to ensure embodied AI’s positive application in the real world?
Propelling Quantum Compute For Take-Off
Quantum computing is promising to hyper-accelerate industry with capabilities to optimise operations, simulate possibilities and advance insights. But while recent advances in scalability and error correction have made headway on key challenges, barriers to wider adoption remain. How can software and hardware developers and integrators build applications for more use cases, improve algorithms and user-friendly interfaces, and overcome technical hurdles for quantum computing to realise its full business potential?
The Sky’s The Limit – Opportunities In The Space Economy
The space sector is evolving rapidly with technological advances, intensifying competition and geopolitical tensions. The democratization of data, developments in business models and geo-political considerations make this THE space to watch.
Global Digital Compact – Tech Accelerating SDGs
Digital technologies offer innovative solutions to urgent SDG challenges in our region, including poverty, health, and education. These solutions can deliver immediate impacts and lay foundations for addressing broader issues like social equality. This panel explores how digital tech can tackle SDGs, success factors, lessons learned, and collaborative approaches for frontline impact.
