Ashok Kumar - Software engineer

Ashok Kumar

Ashok Kumar is a software engineer, full-stack and AI-native developer, product builder, and systems thinker.

I let agents handle the grind so I can focus on shipping fast, solving real problems, and writing code that scales.

About Ashok Kumar

I love turning ideas into products.

Designing systems that scale, and solving problems.

I've worked in startup environments where speed, ownership, and adaptability matter.

I've led projects end-to-end and learned to make decisions long before all the answers were available.

The best problems I've solved didn't come with a roadmap.

Curiosity compounds
My curiosity has taken me from building full-stack products to scaling infrastructure and, more recently, exploring what AI can unlock for developers and businesses.

ProdClaw

ProdClaw

An open-source wrapper around OpenClaw, an AI agent framework. I added durable cross-session memory with LanceDB, model routing via OpenRouter, Slack audit logging, and backup/rollback safety. The boring reliability work that makes agentic AI usable in production. I built it because I wanted better tooling for the way I work.

features
  • -Durable cross-session memory via LanceDB
  • -Model routing through OpenRouter
  • -Slack audit logging and backup/rollback safety
  • -AI cost auditing and optimization

Planogram Editor

Planogram Editor

A 0-to-1 AI-powered planogram editor built for major FMCG brands. It combines dimension-aware and product-type-aware fitment logic with a real-time drag-and-drop editor. By virtualizing the canvas, I was able to render 100+ SKUs with sub-100ms performance. Built from idea to production in just three months.

features
  • -100+ SKUs rendered with sub-100ms performance
  • -Dimension-aware and product-type-aware AI fitment
  • -Real-time drag-and-drop editor

ShelfVision

ShelfVision

An immersive 360° retail-compliance platform. Users can step inside a virtual store, move between zones, and inspect shelf-level compliance through interactive hotspots. The hardest challenge was anchoring hotspots inside an equirectangular 360° image and keeping them perfectly aligned during pan and zoom. Currently an interactive prototype.

features
  • -360° virtual store walkthrough with pinned hotspots
  • -Three-level drill-down: portfolio, store, and shelf
  • -Planogram-vs-reality KPIs like compliance, share of shelf, and OOS
