It’s upgrade and cleanup season.
I moved the old noke dot us site into the archive. And I archived the Git repo. And added it to my prior projects.
I created a new page to enumerate my robots: /robots.
I made a new header.
I also deprecated some domains I will not do anything with.
And turned some other domains into redirects.
And the biggie was that my servers made the leap to PHP8.
And it wasn’t too bad!
Kudos to the folks who make SimplePie for keeping up with versions of SimplePie.compiled.php.
And pages like the one I created in August 2001 in PHP that generates binary images still works. Worked in PHP3. Works in PHP8. Not bad for a language that gets made fun of quite a bit.
It’s a good day.
This is the kind of stuff I can accomplish when forced not to go to the beach by rain.
Oh, and have a isten to one of my favorites. (Again?): Three MCs and One DJ.
Onward.

I dig the new header!
Thanks Tracy! There’s something soothing to me about making new ones.
I have a PHP 5 update to 7 and then 8 coming up as one of my next personal projects.
I need rain it seems.
