Our Services
Independent. Transparent. Built for mission-driven organizations.
Arctis delivers unbiased executive benefit consulting for nonprofits and credit unions that need clarity, technical expertise, and conflict-free guidance. We separate advice from product, providing a level of independence rarely seen in this space.
01
Executive Benefit Plan Design & Modeling
Economics-first design of executive benefit strategies — without product bias.
We help organizations evaluate, design, and model executive benefit structures that align with strategic, financial, and retention goals. Arctis models the long-term economics of each option so boards can make defensible decisions grounded in transparency, not sales incentives.
Includes:
- 457(f) and supplemental retirement design
- SERP modeling and benefit optimization
- REBA (bonus) plan strategy
- Split-Dollar (Loan, Endorsement & Switch)
- Multi-scenario, stress-tested projections
- Competitive compensation & benefit benchmarking
What makes Arctis different:
- We do not lead with product.
- We lead with economics, structure, and alignment.
02
Plan Integrity Reviews
(PIR)
“Does this plan function the way the organization believes it does — and are the assumptions, structure, and governance clearly understood before or after implementation?”
A Plan Integrity Review is a high-level, non-legal assessment of an existing or proposed executive benefit arrangement. Arctis evaluates how the plan is designed or currently operating, what assumptions it relies upon, and whether those assumptions are clearly documented, understood, and governed — providing independent clarity without rewriting plan documents, validating performance, or auditing legal materials.
Includes:
- Plan intent vs. proposed or current operation
- Identification of key structural and economic assumptions relied upon
- Funding approach, adequacy, and sustainability at a high level
- Governance, monitoring, and decision documentation practices
- Awareness of incentive and compensation dynamics at the governance level
- Identification of operational risks, gaps, or areas requiring clarity
Excludes (by design):
- Legal interpretation or compliance opinions
- Rewriting or negotiating plan documents
- Validation of product performance or assumptions
- Insurance illustration preparation or analysis
- Product recommendations or implementation
- Historical fault-finding
Purpose:
Clarity and confidence — before or after commitment — without adding risk or overstepping into legal or insurance advisory territory.
03
In-Force Policy Performance Reviews
Objective analysis of life insurance policies tied to executive benefit plans.
Life insurance products often carry opaque charges, moving parts, and assumptions. Arctis provides a carrier-agnostic evaluation of existing policies to determine whether they remain appropriate, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s objectives.
Includes:
- WL / UL / VUL / IUL performance reviews
- Crediting assumptions & option budget analysis
- Charge structures & compensation transparency
- Long-term cash value viability
- Benchmarking vs. modern alternatives
Why it matters:
Policies can drift from original expectations. Arctis makes the economics clear.
04
Governance, Oversight & Board Support
Regulator-ready documentation and ongoing governance frameworks.
Arctis helps organizations demonstrate consistent, well-documented oversight — a critical component of examiner and auditor expectations.
Includes:
- Governance framework development
- Annual monitoring packages
- Examiner-ready summaries
- Board education & session support
- Succession and transition planning
Purpose:
A defensible, repeatable governance process — without operational burden.
