Here we go again! My second Dean Winchester Big Bang art with my old partner in crime, ! As always, such a pleasure to work with. Banner (clicky to read the delightful story)

Process was the usual - get an idea, search for appropriate references, sketch it out and then mess it up multiple times LOL
So I fixed on the pose early on - I loved the description of this scene with it's enforced intimacy and of course, a nice dash of hurt comfort too. I drew this version first, in my sketchbook which doesn't have watercolour paper. 
At the time I was happy with it, so I got a bit carried away with the shading and it was almost a finished piece. But I wanted to do a colour version, so I redrew it on watercolour paper, and was almost happy with it. By then I'd run out of time so no more fiddling, here it is, like it or not ha ha ha.
