Text, handwritten or PDF, when in an imported pdf, doesn’t go underneath highlighter ink , such as it does in other notes apps. This is a dealbreaker for me since much of my reading and learning occurs in pdfs of textbooks. I was ready to buy the full app after my testing but I saw that this is how it is with highlighters in imported pdfs. If this could be implemented in future updates, I am more than willing to buy this apps since it has everything else that I require from a notes app. Edit: I bought the app yesterday hoping that the relatively easy to implement feature of highlighter going below text yada yada will get added soon. I hope you don’t misunderstand me, the app is great. Never tried any notes app as flexible as Nebo. The good parts of Nebo are excellent, no doubt. It just lacks some basic features such as the one mentioned above, and things like pdf navigation smart highlight in imported documents (sorry to say this but navigating in pdf is terrible rn so is highlighting. I know essential features like this will get added sooner or later so I’m not worried about that). One more thing worth noting is that the rendering cache of pdfs and notes reaches an insanely disproportionate amount. Like 6-7 gb for 3 pdfs of size roughly 500mb in total. It’s not a problem for me right now since since my iPad is new, but after a few years my 64gb storage is bound is get filled up and it will become a hassle to keep clearing cache for Nebo from settings repeatedly. I hope you can look into this. I don’t want to insult your app or your efforts by comparing but I’d like to mention that other apps don’t let the cache pile up like this. I dont know the technical side of this so I only ask that you look into this because this harms the long term usage of Nebo. This still the best note taking app despite the downsides. GG

I just bought this app 2 days back . I regret not knowing about this app before . Flawless app , if i could i would have given 10 stars out of 5. Awesome handwriting to text . I have notes plus, notability and good notes app, none is comparable in converting hand writing to text . I can later listen to my handwritten converted text on Voice dream . Every penny charged by developers is worth . Thanks for this beautiful app.P.S. Developers please give us different font options for the text , option to underline and use italics option to text ... hope to have new features in future updatesAnd please allow us to save our handwritten notes also . Please update these features in future versions

I really like Nebo as a note taking app. It has some amazing features that make it stand out from the rest. For example, the handwriting experience is smooth and natural, the shape and arrow tools are very advanced and smart, the text conversion is accurate and fast, and the strike through and underline options are very useful and unique. I also appreciate the frequent updates and improvements. However, there are some things that could be better. I wish there was a color fill option for the shapes. Also, the top two bars take up too much space on the screen, which reduces the writing area. And in PDFs, the highlighters should go behind the text, not over it, because otherwise it makes it hard to read. Overall, I think Nebo is a great app for note taking and I would recommend it to anyone who likes handwriting on their devices. Update: I had to change the rating to 1 star becuase of the lag in infinite canvas. Also I have chnaged nebo from the default. Even clicking undo is laggy.

As the title suggests, I bought this app as it had the best handwriting to text feature on the App Store. In fact, it was the only app that could recognise my handwriting, which I admit is pretty bad. But in the last few months, either my handwriting became worse or the app lost its previous versatility as it can’t recognise my handwriting anymore.I’m disappointed that I lost the main feature I wanted in the app, but other than that it is a good app for note taking. Also, as some other reviews suggests, I kindly request you to add the edit pdfs feature, instead of the existing annotate feature which is already offered in many other apps.I really am a fan off the one-time payment scheme that the app offers, as the subscription based model is just vampiric. The app otherwise is a great app!! Thank you developers!!
