need improvement in mind map excerpts...Edited review abt conversion of excerpts into PDF

Need feature to edit Manually mind maps after excerpts from pdf.Like other mind map apps add a feature with tat we can creat mind maps in apps like XMind, MindNode,Coggle .., and give a option or add expand mind maps in both directions (vertical n horizontal elongate)while stretching the box with expand feature hope u wil add tat in next update..tnq MarginNote team.Edited Review : tnq MN team for ur reply n concern abt ur customer suggestions,needs..I’m requesting one more feature...for medical students like me it wil useful very much in during making notes from different source of pdfs..that is give a option to change the fonts size n styles of letters from mindnotes excerpts cells itself without going back to settings... one more request is ..give a option during converting mindmap excerpts into pdfs for printing/saving as copy i mean i.e give a choice to how it wil adjust total mindmap excerpts into one page or two or more according to total data in tat or arrangement rather than at presently its concise al of it into one page so it’s difficult to get clarity while giving it to print,need to zooming it every time read the saved copy..Once again tnq n hope these feature we can see in next update..Suggested to so many of my medical school Frnd’s ..recently some them purchased n liked MN3 in after seeing it in my ipadpro..It saves time for me in reading n helps in remembering easily ,takes less time in revisions ...Tnq MN TEAM...👌👏🏻👌👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻📝📝✍🏻👨🏻⚕️🧑🏻💻🧑🏻⚕️📚📚

Flashcards need a lot of improvement but otherwise good app for consolidation of material

I heavily used LiquidText Enterprises for consolidation of material at one place before migrating to MarginNote based on an additional feature of Flashcards in App description. Hopefully, developers will look at Flashcards issue as soon as possible else I regret to spend money on this app and migrating from LiquidText.Flashcards problem: despite organizing and consolidating study material at one place, review process in flashcards is disappointing. First, once, I get a notification that I have this number of cards pending for spaced repetition and then after opening the review area, I need to search for a needle (due cards) in the ocean of flashcards. MarginNote 2 has this feature for not only an individual deck but also in combined deck for random review- those can be easily incorporated here. Second, flashcard itself has a problem of window size in landscape view of IPhone- its pathetic beyond imagination, customization of card window size will be greatly appreciated. Also in Cloze mode, external image incorporated in a card can not be covered/hidden to recall. Many of the above problems are exaggerated because of lack of a operative manual/ tutorial. Even sent an email to developers but nothing happened so far.In latest app update- merge function was disappeared initially in both IPad and IPhone but after of refresh it restored in.

Unfortunately, you did not tell us your device info, iOS version or which section you were using MarginNote where you found the merging feature gone. Just a sentence saying it disappeared and left us wondering where and how and when we could replicate the case at hand. Impressive all in one app but lacks the final touch...

Being a medical student, I required an app which could bring all my material to one place and have flash card features. This app does the job and is actually a one stop solution, though still needs work and bug fixing to be called the “perfect” markup app.Issues like losing highlights of the document on mindmap mode. Lack of apple pencil gestures in mind map or outline mode. Bug filled pdf editing features when adding or removing pages (creates multiple copies), are some of the deficiencies that come to my mind. Hopefully the developers add such features to this app. Overall, a one of a kind app, brilliant idea, but lacking execution in some areas.
Very poor OCR performance

I have been using notability and GoodNotes for a long time now. I wanted an app to concise my notes in tree format for quick revision. I read about MarginNote and thought to try it out. First of all It’s more expensive than both notability and GoodNotes combined. Moreover features like OCR are under inapp purchase. Anyway, I bought it. And guess what! The OCR performance is so poor that I already started regretting my purchase. I have really clear pdf files. The text is not even handwritten. It’s typed. Free apps on my phone read and convert those texts correctly even from a photo clicked of the file. This expensive app has failed to do that. A simple word like ‘Displaced’ is converted into ‘ Oispliiced’ and ‘fracture’ to ‘Froicture’. I tried to use the Autocorrect/auto fix issue which obviously doesn’t work. The app is useless to me without a fine OCR. I don’t know if I will get any resolution for this. If I don’t, obviously, my recommendation would be to not waste your money here.
