I started reading Harry Potter when I was 5 years old, now I’m 21 and totally in love with this game so you can see how huge of a fan I am. Before the game was released, I’d have numerous daydreams about me and my friends getting our Hogwarts letter, being witches and having our very own magical journey! With this game, it’s actually come true! I got my very own iPad 3 years ago and that’s when I started playing. I take a year to play each year in the game so it’s actually realistic. I was waiting anxiously for the time I could join the Quidditch team ever since I joined Hogwarts ! Now I’ve reached third year and started my Quidditch training with Skye and all these years I waited for seems to have been worth it! Don’t you dare remove this game, atleast for another 5 years so that I can find my brother first !! Hats off to the people who worked for this to happen !! Lots of love from a true Gryffindor ❤️

I would like to clarify that this rating & review is not about the game as a whole, but couple of issues I've been experiencing. I've been playing this game from a very long time, and in spite of being connected to a highspeed WiFi boradband connection, I keep getting "Connection Error - We were unabel to connect to the game. Please verify your connection and retry". This is a long statnding issue which has been occuring from the time I've started playing this game years ago. The 2nd issue: I've purchased the x2 Booster worth 120 gems to acquire double the amount of carnival prize tickets, and I was able to acquire 960 of them staying up late in the night just because the booster is about to end. When I opened the game this morning, I see that it has gone back to the last question in "Wizard Trivia", and I lost 40 prize tickets, and the count went down to 920. Not only this but from the past couple of days the game has been going a step back when ever you reopen it after leaving it for a while. I really hope there would be a solution for this as I've tried on 2 separte devicese to ensure that the issue is not with the device.

I cannot believe that I spent over 4 years at this stupid game. It is just too long and stagnant.Side tasks? They keep adding these side quests and repeated challenges to keep the thrill??? Every side task has 4 parts with further 3-5 sections. But it all feels nonsense. EVERY task needs SO MUCH energy and it 3 hours or 8 hours long! The challenges like the festival grounds, potion making.. they keep repeating like every 10 days. And the cast spells thing is just so stupid. The main story? It is great. The story overall is amazing, the characters and everything. But it is too slow. And along with the side achievements, and all those quests, you cannot finish the story. Because the achievements are time sensitive too. Plus, the game is simply just tapping the screen and giving away 22 energy for a single star. That means- over 100 energy for any 8 hour task. And this just keeps repeating. In everything. Creatures to adopt?First it was all okay, you could adopt creatures if you wanted to or not. But now every creature has a separate “story” that is really nothing remarkable but a way of wasting time and energy to simply get the creatures from TOO many books. Challenges?The challenges are fun though. I love the festival grounds one but the time is too little and in order to obtain all the rewards, you can only play the game that offers a good ROI(lol). But honestly, why would you play the game that costs 40 tickets but gives only 32 tokens(8 less) when you can just play a game for 15 tickets and get 12 back(only 3 less)The duelling challenges used to be real fun and actually challenging. The quidditch one too, and even the one with the tiles and board. Bring back those- note to the creater. This is all for today. Will add more later.
Characters don’t age & too much time for energy refill.

Almost everything about this game is perfect. But! There are two things I would really like the creators to pay attention to. First of all, why don’t the characters actually age? I mean they finish every year and say the same size. If the characters grew taller as the years went, the game will be way way better. Like it’ll completely give players the Harry Potter feeling. Second, the energy refill takes unnecessarily too much of player’s time. It really turns the mood off. It’s seriously irritating to play sometimes as the energy takes too much time. Instead of 4 minutes, 2 minutes would be perfect but even if you guys consider 3 minutes the game would be just perfect and I would have given it 5 stars. But it’s a great game tho. No offense, I am saying you guys should pay attention to this two things as a player. And I’ve read other reviews so a lot of players agree with me.
